Jessica Chastain looks gorgeous while walking the blue carpet at the 2016 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 27) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The two-time Oscar-nominated actress is one of the presenters at the annual event, which honors the best in indie film.

Jes took to Twitter the day before to say she is disappointed that the Academy will not be allowing transgender Oscar nominee Anohni to perform her nominated song during the show this weekend.

“Im so disappointed. One of the most beautiful voices ever. Xx,” Jessica tweeted.

While at the event, John opened up to E! Online about his upcoming movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens and how he still hasn’t seen the film.

“I haven’t seen it,” John said. “I haven’t seen the movie…I haven’t see the movie cut together so it will be fun when I finally do.”

“We’re so close. Oh, my gosh, we’re so close,” he added. “I can’t wait for this movie to come out. Today apparently there is a screening… I’m not going.”
