Another one of Alicia Vikander‘s films has gotten a release date.

The 32-year-old actress stars in Blue Bayou from director and co-star Justin Chon, and Focus Features just announced that the movie will be out on June 25, 2021, via THR.

The drama is centered on an American family fighting for their future as the father faces deportation.

Justin plays Antonio LeBlanc, a Korean adoptee raised in a small town in the Louisiana bayou who is married to the love of his life, Kathy (Vikander), and stepfather to their daughter.

Struggling to make a better life for his family, he must confront the ghosts of his past when he discovers that he could be deported from the only country he has ever called home.

Mark O’Brien, Linh Dan Pham and Emory Cohen also star in the film.

Netflix has picked up John David Washington‘s upcoming thriller movie, Born To Be Murdered, for the streaming service.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the flick centers on a vacationing couple, played by John David and Alicia Vikander, who fall prey to a violent conspiracy with tragic consequences.

Vicky Krieps and Boyd Holbrook also star in the movie that was filmed on location in Athens, Greece last year.

The film also marks the first English-language movie for Ferdinando Cito Filomarino.

Born to Be Murdered is eyeing a premiere in 2021 on Netflix.

John David previously starred in Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet, which after many delays, premiered in select theaters in August. Find out what the critics said about the movie here…

The 32-year-old Tomb Raider actress was in attendance at the 2020 Louis Vuitton Womenswear Spring/Summer 2021 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (October 6) in Paris, France.

Lea Seydoux, Venus Williams and Laura Harrier were all in attendance, posing for pictures on the red carpet as well.

Alicia, who just celebrated her birthday, chatted with Good Morning America on Friday (October 2) and said that she had already received her birthday present from husband Michael Fassbender – a trip home to see her family.

“Actually, my husband surprised me with a trip to Sweden. “Landed, I got a COVID test and was negative so I was able to hang out with my mom and my dad and a lot of family members I haven’t seen in a long time. So that was kind of a perfect gift,” she revealed.

Alicia Vikander steps out in a chic look for the Louis Vuitton Stellar Jewelry Cocktail Event held at Place Vendome on Monday night (September 28) in Paris, France.

The 31-year-old Swedish actress carried a cute bag to the event, which also hosted the likes of Lady Amelia Windsor, Carine Roitfeld, Cindy Bruna and more.

Earlier over the summer, Alicia made a rare outing with husband Michael Fassbender, as they met up with some friends for a bite to eat together in Ibiza, Spain, which was right after lockdown rules lifted in some parts of Europe.

She later opened up about what lockdown life was like for her and Michael, revealing that during her many Zoom calls and meetings that happened, he popped up in a lot of them.

“That’s the thing when you’re in your house. There’s always a risk of someone in the background. My husband was often around making coffee or putting the boiler on,” she shared with Elle UK magazine.

The film traces famed feminist activist Gloria Steinem’s influential journey to prominence—from her time in India as a young woman, to the founding of Ms. magazine in New York, to her role in the rise of the women’s rights movement in the 1960s, to the historic 1977 National Women’s Conference and beyond. Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander both play Steinem at different stages of her life.

The film also features icons Dorothy Pitman Hughes (Janelle Monáe), Flo Kennedy (Lorraine Toussaint), Bella Abzug (Bette Midler), Dolores Huerta (Monica Sanchez) and Wilma Mankiller (Kimberly Guerrero).
