The brand new trailer for Annie is here, and it is jam packed with hilarious jokes and new footage from the highly anticipated flick!

The film stars Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks (aka Daddy Warbucks), Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan, and real life couple Rose Byrne as Grace Farrell and Bobby Cannavale in a new role written for the movie. Quvenzhane Wallis stars in the title role. Check out the first trailer for the film if you missed it.

While the second trailer features less song and dance numbers than the first, we get way more jokes in this new feature.

“I love this city — the harder I work, the more opportunities I can get. No matter who you are or what you are, you just gotta want it bad enough. This city needs me,” Jamie says, to which Rose humorously responds, “Alright, take it easy, Batman.”

The remake will be a modern day version of the classic musical set in contemporary New York City. It follows an orphan named Annie who gets brought in by a billionaire for a temporary stay, but he falls in love with the girl and decides to adopt her.

The film will feature the famous songs such as “Tomorrow” and “It’s a Hard Knock Life.”

It was reported last week that the 33-year-old Damages actress is in talks to star in the upcoming movie musical Annie, according to Variety.

Rose is in talks to play the role of Grace Farrell, who is the assistant to the Daddy Warbucks character, being played by Jamie Foxx in an updated version of the classic role.

Quvenzhane Wallis is set to play Annie while Cameron Diaz will take on the role of Miss Hannigan.

The 40-year-old actress filled the void for the character after Sandra Bullock passed on the role as the mean woman who runs the orphanage.

Cameron would co-star with Jamie Foxx as the Daddy Warbucks character (renamed Benjamin Stacks) and Quvenzhane Wallis in the title role.

Will Smith and Jay-Z are attached to produce the flick.

The role of Miss Hannigan was made famous in the 1982 flick by comedian Carol Burnett. Jane Lynch currently plays the role on Broadway.
