Caleb Johnson, the winner of season 13 of American Idol, revealed why he was “really bummed” when he won the show.
If you don’t know, the 31-year-old singer was crowned the winner in 2014 and had to sing the song “As Long as You Love Me” as his debut single.

Chris Daughtry and the rockers of American Idol take the stage during the series finale on Thursday (April 7).
The 36-year-old Daughtry frontman was joined by season four runner-up Bo Bice, season 13 winner Caleb Johnson, season-four finalist Constantine Maroulis and season 10 finalist James Durbin.
The group’s medley included The Ides Of March‘s “Vehicle,” The Animals‘ “Tobacco Road,” and Daughtry‘s song “Torches.”

Megan Hilty dons a lacy blue dress while performing at the 2014 National Memorial Day Concert rehearsals at U.S. Capital, West Lawn on Saturday (May 24) in Washington, DC.
The 33-year-old pregnant actress was joined by Jackie Evancho, previous The Voice winner Danielle Bradbury, and the new American Idol winner Caleb Johnson.

Earlier in the day, Megan showed off her baby bump in a different form-fitting dress.
“It always brings so many talented people together and such a wide variety, too. There’s always something for everybody in these concerts,” Megan recently shared to Zap2It about the concert.

The 17-year-old Michigan native and the 23-year-old North Carolina resident battled it out the night before during the performance show and the judges couldn’t pick out a clear winner!

Caleb Johnson rocks out on stage while performing at the American Idol Finale held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Tuesday (May 20) in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old finalist sang three songs during the show – Aerosmith‘s “Dream On,” Paul McCartney‘s “Maybe I’m Amazed,” and an original song called “As Long As You Love Me.”
“Some of the nicest , extremely hilarious and most kindhearted people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting ! Not to mention they put on one hell of a badass show ! Tune in to American Idol Wednesday night to see KISS and I tear the roof off the Nokia Theater!!” Caleb wrote on his Instagram along with a photo of himself with the legendary band.

The finals are almost here and now we know who will be competing next week for the title of this year’s American Idol!
The contestants each had to sing three songs during this week’s semi-finals round and it was stiff competition for the Idol hopefuls as everyone did great.
The final three this year are 23-year-old Caleb Johnson, 17-year-old Jena Irene, and 21-year-old Alex Preston.
During the results show, host Ryan Seacrest revealed that during next week’s finale, Caleb will get to sing with the band KISS, Jena will sing with the band Paramore, and Alex will sing with Jason Mraz.
