Sofia Carson is honoring Cameron Boyce in a beautiful way.

The 26-year-old Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists star posted her touching tribute to her Descendants co-star on Instagram on Saturday (July 13).

“To our angel, There are not enough words,” she wrote along with a stunning black-and-white shot of Cameron leaping through the air.

“There will never be enough words,” she continued. “I couldn’t bring myself to do this because doing this makes it real. Letting you go is not something I know how to do. And I just can’t fathom living in a world without you.”

“I love you, Cam,” Sofia Carson finished. “And I will love you. Forever.”

Disney Channel has announced that the red carpet premiere for the upcoming movie Descendants 3 has been canceled and the network will make a donation in late actor Cameron Boyce‘s memory instead.

Cameron was an avid supporter of the Thirst Project and the network will instead donate to the organization with the funds allotted for the premiere.

“We’re proud to be part of Cameron Boyce‘s legacy by showcasing his talents on screen but we are cancelling the red carpet premiere event for Descendants 3 (scheduled for July 22) and instead, The Walt Disney Company will make a donation to the Thirst Project, a philanthropic organization to which Cameron was deeply committed,” the network said in a statement.

The network added, “With permission from the Boyce family, Disney Channel will dedicate the telecast of Descendants 3 in Cameron Boyce‘s memory.”

Descendants 3 airs on the Disney Channel on August 2. You can make your own donation to the charity at ThirstProject.org.

Cameron Boyce‘s younger sister, Maya Boyce, has opened up on social media following her brother’s untimely passing earlier this week.

The 17-year-old sister of the actor shared a few of her favorite photos of him, all while opening up about accepting his death.

“Yes, he died. Yes, I’m sad,” she pointed out first. “Cameron was my best friend. He is someone I will always idolize. His smile could light up a room, unlike anyone else’s. He was perfect.”

Maya continued, “He always said that if you have a voice, you have the privilege of using that voice for change, and he did not take that idea lightly. He understood his responsibility as someone who many kids would look up to.”

“Cameron always went out of his way to be giving and kind. He did more with his 20 years of life, than most people ever could with 100 years. He was actively charitable. He traveled the world. He made creativity and art his life’s mission, and he encouraged others to do the same.

“Of course, I am devastated. I will be for the rest of my life. But what I’m holding onto, and what I encourage you to hold onto as well, is the memory of his endless optimism.

“He was sunlight wearing shoes. I can confidently say, he wants us to celebrate, grow and persevere. Yes, he died. Yes, I’m sad. I’m also happy, and grateful. I was with him hours before he died. It was normal and fun. We said ‘I love you’. He was happy.

“I spent 17 years knowing what it was like to be loved by Cameron Boyce. That is the most beautiful gift I have ever received.”

The preliminary report about Cameron‘s cause of death was released earlier today.

Cameron Boyce‘s cause of death has been listed on the preliminary coroner’s report as “natural circumstances,” or natural causes.

“Preliminary information suggests the death occurred under natural circumstances,” a press release from the coroner states (via CNN).

The statement added that a final cause of death will be determined later, but for now, it is listed as natural causes.

Cameron Boyce passed away over the weekend at the young age of 20, and his family confirmed he had suffered from epilepsy.

“Cameron’s tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy,” a previously released statement said.

Victor Boyce is mourning his son, Cameron Boyce.

The father of the late Disney star, who tragically died at the age of 20 earlier this week due to epileptic seizures, posted an update on Wednesday evening (July 10) on his Instagram.

“My son. Just hours before he was snatched from our lives. I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I’m feeling but no one is immune to tragedy. The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation. 🙏🏾❤️”

Cameron Boyce‘s parents Victor and Libby Boyce, have issued a new statement after Cameron‘s shocking death passing over the weekend.

The parents, who first confirmed his passing, shared the statement with People, and reflected on their son’s legacy he left behind.

“There are no words to describe how moved we are by the tremendous outpouring of love and support from our family, friends, and the world. Thank you, everyone, for encircling us with your love and respect of Cameron and concern for our family,” they shared. “He was the very definition of human kindness, and a light that will forever shine as his spirit lives on in all who knew and loved him. He was the rock of our family and he always had a positive, heartwarming, insightful and caring outlook on everything and everyone.”

Libby and Victor added that losing their son is “indescribable.”

“The pain we have endured and are continuing to endure is indescribable, but we are making every effort to move forward and ensure that Cameron’s legacy and all that he stood for is honored,” Victor and Libby continued. “He was and is, so cherished and we will hold him in our hearts forever. He is our shooting star.”

Investigators are looking further into Cameron Boyce‘s cause of death, following his autopsy earlier this week, The Blast reports.

The 20-year-old late actor’s anti-seizure medication is what they’re looking into to see if the prescription played a role into his passing.

Cameron went through an autopsy, but it did not reveal the cause of death and investigators are currently waiting for the toxicology results.

After his passing, Cameron‘s issued a statement saying that he suffered from seizures, as part of his ongoing epilepsy.

“The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother,” the family wrote in a statement.
