Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines have made a big donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

The Fixer Upper stars surprised patients with a $1.5 million check last week in Memphis, Tenn., People reports.

They also presented the St. Jude Target House with a new playhouse that they designed.

The couple reportedly wore bumblebee headbands while hanging out with the children, playing the piano and singing songs, and reading Joanna’s kids book, “We Are the Gardeners.”

Chip and Joanna raised the donations through a social media campaign, #ChipInChallenge, with help from Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Kacey Musgraves, and more.

“When we heard that the space outside of Target House could use a little love, we knew right away that we wanted to create a sweet playhouse for the kids to enjoy,” Joanna Gaines shared. “There’s something so special about spending time together outside and while we’re hopeful that these families will not have to stay here for very long, we wanted to create a retreat for them to explore while they are here.”

“As we walked in today, a little boy told us that he’s ‘demo day-ing’ his cancer treatment and that’s pretty much the best thing I’ve ever heard,” Chip Gaines added. “In our world, demo day marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of a newer, more exciting one. And that’s exactly what we want for you — we’re pulling for each and every one of you.”

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez jetted off to Waco, Texas to hang out with two of HGTV’s biggest stars!

The 43-year-old retired Yankee player took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon (April 27) to share a photo of him and the 49-year-old entertainer hanging out with Chip and Joanna Gaines.

“ARod Corp hits Capital Gaines in Waco, Texas. #CapitalGaines @joannagaines @chipgaines,” Alex captioned the below photo of the two couples.

Jen then commented on the photo writing, “Best anniversary gift ever!!” along with three heart emojis.

This isn’t the first time the two couples have crossed paths.

Back in March, Jen and Joanna were photographed together checking out Jen‘s Malibu home ahead of some renovations.

Chip and Joanna Gaines have announced the cute – and nontraditional – name for their new son!

After welcoming their son on Saturday (June 23) morning, the Fixer Upper stars revealed that they have named their new baby boy Crew – ditching the tradition of giving their sons a name that starts with a D.

“Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love. He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early – which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful,” Joanna wrote on Instagram along with a ton of photos with their new baby.

The couple has four older children – Drake, 13, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 8.

Congratulations are in order for Fixer Upper stars Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines!

The couple just welcomed their fifth child into the world – a baby boy.

“And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great! #blessedBeyondBelief,” Chip tweeted to his fans on Saturday morning (June 23).

Chip and Joanna Gaines have revealed the gender of their upcoming fifth child!

The Fixer Upper stars made the announcement via a video Chip tweeted on Wednesday (March 7).

In the clip, Chip asks a child named Gage, whom they met at the Tim Tebow Foundation’s recent golf outing, for baby name ideas.

“We’re just about to have another little baby, because Uncle Chip lost his mind,” Chip playfully told the young boy. “Now, listen to this. This is important: I can’t think of a ‘D’ name. So, can you help me think of a ‘D’ name?”

Chip and Joanna are already parents to two boys whose names start with “D” – Drake, 12, and Duke, 9 – and two girls whose names start with “E” – Ella, 11, and Emmie, 7.

After telling Gage that Joanna is pregnant with boy, Chip says, “Is that a secret? I don’t know. That might not even be allowed on Twitter. You better keep that to yourself, dude. But listen to me: It’s a little boy, and I need a ‘D’ name. And so far, all I can come up with is Dragon. [Joanna was] like, ‘You are not calling that baby Dragon!’ Can you help me?”

The couple announced their pregnancy back in January after revealing that Fixer Upper‘s fifth season would be their last.

Chip and Joanna Gaines have some exciting news to announce – they’re having another baby!

The Fixer Upper stars took to Instagram on Tuesday (January 2) to share that they are expecting their fifth child together.

“Gaines party of 7.. (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT) @joannagaines,” Chip captioned the below photo of himself and Joanna cradling his fake baby bump.

The couple are already parents to Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 7.

The announcement came on the same night as the premiere of Fixer Upper‘s fifth and final season on HGTV.
