Corinne Olympios & DeMario Jackson Are Still Hanging Out!

Being involved in that Bachelor in Paradise scandal did not tear apart Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson‘s friendship!

The two reality stars have been spotted hanging out yet again. They were seen leaving Tao after a fun night out on Wednesday (September 20) in Hollywood.

DeMario might not have gotten the final rose from Rachel Lindsay on The Bachelorette, but he did get a rose from a fan outside of the restaurant!

The two stars reunited earlier this month on the Bachelor in Paradise reunion show following the summer of scandal. “After a long summer of he said, she said it was great to finally get the opportunity to speak to @colympios face to face. I have the utmost respect for Corn and her family and you should too,” DeMario wrote on Instagram.

Corinne Olympios Opens Up About 'Bachelor in Paradise' Scandal: 'I Was Really a Victim of the Media'

Corinne Olympios sits down for her first live interview on Good Morning America on Tuesday (August 29) and opens up about her Bachelor in Paradise scandal with DeMario Jackson ahead of her sitdown interview with host Chris Harrison, airing tonight (August 22) on ABC.

“I have definitely taken my time to, you know, deal with everything, heal, and you know, I just felt, you know, laying low was really the best thing for me to do,” the 24-year-old reality show star expressed. “So, I’m definitely doing better. I really don’t remember much at all. I remember nothing from the situation and…it was just really unfortunate.”

“I did drink too much,” Corinne confessed. “I definitely understand that. But I was also on a medication that severely blacks you out and impairs your judgment and messes with your balance. But I didn’t know you were not supposed to drink on. And so I really just caused a horrible, horrible blackout. It was like I went under anesthesia and just woke up.”

Corinne also was asked to explain her first statement, saying she was a “victim”: “I was a victim of, you know, just being blown into the media and having people make these crazy, you know, assumptions and judgments about what happened that day,” Corinne said. “You know, I was really a victim of the media. All of a sudden people became an expert on the situation and what happened, and it’s like, ‘Well, I’m still trying to figure out what happened.’ It was just horrible to deal with.”

Corinne Olympios Has a Reality Show in the Works!

Corinne Olympios just revealed that she has two TV shows in the works.

The 24-year-old reality show star, who found herself in the middle of the Bachelor in Paradise scandal this summer, is not shying away from TV.

“I do have a [reality] show in the works, and I’m also working on a scripted show with one of my favorite producers,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Corinne plans to reveal more about her upcoming projects during her sit-down interview with Chris Harrison after Bachelor in Paradise next week.

“It’s going to be really great finally being able to tell my side of things, through my eyes. I’m really happy it was with Chris because Chris is a good friend of mine so I’d rather interview with him than anyone else,” she said.

Here's How 'Bachelor in Paradise' Shutdown Played Out on Air

Spoilers from last night’s Bachelor in Paradise premiere ahead!

Last night, the first episode of Bachelor in Paradise‘s new season aired, and it addressed what happened leading up to the shutdown in production over a hookup between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios. The hookup lead to allegations of sexual assault.

The hookup was never actually seen, and not much was made of the fact that Corinne and DeMario spent the first evening together.

Later in the show, just before the first rose ceremony, the cast was seen chilling around the beach. All of a sudden a producer called Corinne over and she said, “What’s up?” and replied, “I don’t know.” DeMario was also approached by a producer and taken away.

At this point, the cast seemed very confused and someone asked “Where is Corinne?”

Then, the cast noticed that filming had stopped.

“Everyone’s very confused right now,” Danielle said. “It’s kind of like a chill all over paradise. We’re all just looking at each other like, ‘What the f–k is happening?’”

Taylor could be heard speculating, “Corinne and DeMario from the first night.”

The episode ended in a cliffhanger and there’s another new episode tonight on ABC, which will presumably reveal more information.

'Bachelor in Paradise' Producer Didn't Think Corinne & DeMario's Incident Was 'Out of the Ordinary'

The new season of Bachelor in Paradise is set to premiere tonight (August 14) after a ton of controversy involving contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.

There were allegations of sexual misconduct after the two reality stars were reportedly intoxicated in a hot tub together and the incident will be addressed on the season premiere. Production was shut down while producers investigated what happened and after Warner Bros. TV deemed nothing impromper occurred, production resumed, but with DeMario and Corinne.

“Just from watching it, it seemed to me that there was nothing really out of the ordinary. It seemed like summer fun that we would normally have in Paradise,” executive producer Martin Hilton said in a new interview with EW. “And so it was fairly clear to me watching it that this was not going to be a long-term issue, yet even the perceived issue is important for us to get right both for the people who have worked on the show forever and with the cast. It was important to slow down, really look at this, and only proceed if everything checked out.”

Martin is pretty sure that the future of Bachelor Nation is safe.

“Obviously, as producers, you always have that feeling on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, even though we’ve been on so long, that somehow it could be canceled next season,” Hilton said. “But I feel pretty positive that we will be back next summer with another season of Bachelor in Paradise.”
