'The Crown's Emerald Fennell Reacts To The Rumor of Duchess Camilla Watching The Show

Emerald Fennell just heard the rumor that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, might watch The Crown!

In the report, published by Vanity Fair, a source shared that the Duchess, who is married to Prince Charles, does watch the Netflix program.

“I imagine she’ll be tuning in with a glass of red wine to watch it, she has seen the previous series,” an insider said. “She has a wonderful sense of humour and this won’t fuss her in the slightest.”

While promoting her new movie, Promising Young Woman, Emerald, who plays the young Duchess on screen, reacted to the rumor about Camilla.

“Does she?! I didn’t know!” she said to ET Canada.

Emerald added that the thought of Camilla watching was a big “nerve-wracking. I didn’t realize that but I hope she approves.”

While the rumor that Camilla watches The Crown is still a rumor, this member of the royal family actually does watch!

The Cast of 'The Crown' Staged Their Own Premiere For Season Four From Their Homes

With London currently in lockdown, the cast of The Crown missed out on a physical premiere for the new season of the hit Netflix show.

However, lockdown didn’t stop them from celebrating the new season of the show.

Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter, Josh O’Connor, Emerald Fennell, Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson were all sent a red carpet and The Crown backdrop and snapped their own pics in their kitchens, and living rooms and even included their pets!

Series creator Peter Morgan, executive producer Suzanne Mackie, Tobias Menzies, Erin Doherty, and Marion Bailey also joined in on the panel, where they opened up about the new season, which premieres on Sunday, November 15.

Guests for the “premiere” also got a first look at the first two episodes of season four, before enjoying a Q&A with the cast.

Carey Mulligan's 'Promising Young Woman' to Get Theatrical Release on Christmas Day!

The highly anticipated movie Promising Young Woman was supposed to be released in theaters back in April and now the film has finally been given a new release date!

The new film, starring Carey Mulligan, will hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020.

Here is the film’s synopsis: Everyone said Cassie (Mulligan) was a promising young woman… until a mysterious event abruptly derailed her future. But nothing in Cassie’s life is what it appears to be: she’s wickedly smart, tantalizingly cunning, and she’s living a secret double life by night. Now, an unexpected encounter is about to give Cassie a chance to right the wrongs of the past in this thrilling and wildly entertaining story.

Promising Young Woman was written and directed by Emerald Fennell, who was the showrunner for season two of Killing Eve.

Starring alongside Carey are Bo Burnham, Laverne Cox, Alison Brie, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Max Greenfield, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chris Lowell, Sam Richardson, Molly Shannon, and Clancy Brown.

Carey Mulligan's 'Promising Young Woman' Debuts at Sundance, Moviegoers Say to Avoid Spoilers!

Carey Mulligan hits the red carpet for the premiere of her movie Promising Young Woman during the 2020 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 25) at The Marc Theatre in Park City, Utah.

The 34-year-old actress was joined at the event by co-stars Bo Burnham and Alison Brie, as well as the movie’s writer and director Emerald Fennell.

If you didn’t know, Promising Young Woman was produced by Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley. The film will hit theaters on April 17, but moviegoers at Sundance are urging fans to avoid reading any spoilers as this is one movie that you’ll want to experience without knowing the twists.

“Please do yourselves a favor and avoid all spoilers for Promising Young Woman. Trust me, this movie is so worth your time. I’m still processing it and cannot believe how dark it got and the places it went. It will be nearly impossible to top this at Sundance,” We Live Entertainment’s Scott Menzel tweeted.

Emerald Fennell to Play Camilla Parker Bowles on 'The Crown' Season 3

The role of Camilla Parker Bowles – aka Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall – has been set for season three of The Crown!

Emerald Fennell, well known for her work on Call the Midwife, will play the role of the Duchess this upcoming season!

“I’m absolutely over the moon, and completely terrified, to be joining so many hugely talented people on ‘The Crown,’” Emerald said. “I absolutely love Camilla, and am very grateful that my teenage years have well prepared me for playing a chain-smoking serial snogger with a pudding bowl hair cut.”

Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, and more are set for season three of the hit Netflix show as well.
