The women of Fifth Harmony are going to be taking a break.

The news was confirmed in a note from the four members – Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke.

“After six years going hard, non stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors,” the statement read. “We are all very excited and grateful to be able to take this time to learn and grow creatively and really find out footing as individuals. In doing this, we are allowing ourselves to gain new experiences, strengths, and perspectives that we can bring back to our Fifth Harmony family.”

The note also confirmed that they will still be doing their schedule show dates throughout the year.

Would Sam Smith ever sing karaoke? Only if it was a Fifth Harmony track!

The 25-year-old “Too Good at Goodbyes” singer made the revelation while stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (February 1).

Sam shared that he and his band recently visited a karaoke bar, but only they sang, not him.

When Jimmy asked him why, Sam replied, “I hate karaoke,” adding, “I don’t think karaoke works if you can sing.”

“I’d only ever do Fifth Harmony,” he said. “Ever.”

Sam also opened up about what he does on vacation (“eat a lot of cheese” and “drink a lot of alcohol”), an embarrassing story about one of his nights out at a bar, the royal wedding, his latest album The Thrill of It All, and more.

Fifth Harmony‘s episode of Lip Sync Battle looks like it’s going to be epic!

Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei just gave a sneak peek at their routines and they totally went all out.

In the preview, Lauren channels Amy Winehouse in her rendition of “Rehab,” while Normani throws it back to “Bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child!

The 5H duo are set to take on their band mates Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke, who shared an inside look at their performance earlier this week.

Fifth Harmony‘s Lip Sync Battle is set to air on Thursday night (February 1) on the Paramount Network.

The four stars of Fifth Harmony are battling it out Lip Sync Battle this week and we have preview clips of Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke‘s performances!

Dinah brought us the laughs while dressing up as Dwayne Johnson‘s character Maui from the animated movie Moana for a performance of “You’re Welcome.”

Ally turned up the heat by channeling Jennifer Lopez for an “On the Floor” performance.

Based on the photos, it looks like Normani Kordei is going to be doing a Destiny’s Child song and Lauren Jauregui will be doing an Amy Winehouse tune.

Watch the episode on Thursday (February 1) at 10pm on the Paramount Network.

Back in August during the 2017 MTV VMAs, Fifth Harmony threw major shade at former member Camila Cabello during their performance.

In the performance, five silhouettes appeared at the top of a platform and then one, seemingly representing Camila, was pushed to the ground.

Camila opened up to the New York Times about watching the moment. “It definitely hurt my feelings,” she said. “I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t prepared for it – especially because at that point I’d moved on from it. I was just like, ‘What? Why?’”

Camila continued, “I have to make space for the good stuff to happen in my life. I don’t like holding onto the past, especially when it’s stuff that, in my opinion, is just petty.”

The clip features the 39-year-old host and Reggie Watts wrapping the 2017 year of Carpool Karaoke with a mashup of the Christmas classic “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town.”

Along with Harry, the clip includes moments with this year’s Carpool guests Katy Perry, Usher, Bruno Mars, The Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Pink, Sam Smith, Fifth Harmony, Ed Sheeran and Kelly Clarkson.

Fifth Harmony strut their stuff in the just released music video for their Pitbull collaboration “Por Favor,” and you can watch it right here!

The clip sees the ladies – Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane – performing together in various set ups while the 36-year-old rapper indulges in a love affair.

A part two continuation for the visual is set to be released for the “Spanglish” version soon.

Last week, Fifth Harmony and Pitbull performed the track live together for the first time on the Dancing With the Stars finale.
