Joaquin Phoenix hits the red carpet with his sisters Rain, Liberty, and Summer, and their mother Arlyn while arriving at PETA’s 35th Anniversary Gala held at the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The family was joined at the event by Kesha, Emily Deschanel, Maggie Q, William H. Macy, Bellamy Young, hostesses Anjelica Huston and Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee and his wife Sofia Toufa, Tish Cyrus, Jason Biggs, Alicia Silverstone, Jillian Michaels, George Lopez, Seth Green, Moby and Naomi Grossman.

Joaquin and his family hit the stage together to present the first-ever River Phoenix Humanitarian Award to Earthlings filmmaker Shaun Monson.

“He took personal responsibility for his beliefs by becoming vegan,” Arlyn said about her late son River, adding, “He inspired not only our family but the world.”

Ashley Olsen walks the red carpet with Bob Saget while attending the “Stand Up” for Scleroderma Research event on Tuesday (December 2) at Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City.

The 28-year-old fashion designer played Bob‘s daughter Michelle Tanner on the beloved sitcom Full House for eight seasons.

Bob hosted the event and he was joined by fellow comedians Whoopi Goldberg and George Lopez.

Scleroderma is a chronic connective tissue disease generally classified as one of the autoimmune rheumatic diseases. It claimed the life of Bob’s sister when she was 47.

Kylie Jenner and her rumored love interest Tyga volunteer their time to serve food to the hungry at the Los Angeles Mission and Anne Douglas Center’s Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless held at the Los Angeles Mission on Wednesday (November 26) in Los Angeles.

The couple were joined at the event by comedian George Lopez, who eagerly took a photo with the duo.

“Excited for the release tomorrow of Kylie Hair Kouture by @bellamihair” Kylie tweeted that same day, along with a link to where you can get updates on her new product!

Comedian George Lopez was reportedly arrested on Thursday evening (February 27) at the Caesars Windsor casino in Canada, TMZ reports.

The 53-year-old funny man was booked for public intoxication after being found on the floor of a casino, but he won’t be charged.

Caesars Windsor reportedly alerted the police to the situation, who came and assessed, and subsequently, made the arrest.

George was scheduled to perform at the casino that night, and is also on the bill to perform tonight. George has been released from jail and will take the stage later in the day.

Eva Longoria steps out in style for the Eva Longoria Foundation Dinner on Saturday evening (September 28) at her restaurant Beso in Hollywood.

The 38-year-old actress was joined at the event by her friends and supporters Diego Boneta, Ana Ortiz, Desperate Housewives co-star Ricardo Antonio Chavira, Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, and George Lopez.

“Inspired by these amazing activists working with my Foundation to help Latinas graduate!” Eva tweeted that evening. Her foundation helps Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship.
