Emily Blunt is in talks to star in this year’s runaway best selling book “The Girl on the Train.”
The 32-year-old actress would play the role of Rachel, “a jobless alcoholic who, devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily train ride fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that she passes,” THR reports. There are two other leading roles available for women in the film as well.
Since being published earlier this year, the book has sold more than 2 million copies. Stay tuned for more casting news!
