Phillip Phillips is a dad!

The 29-year-old American Idol winner has announced that he and wife Hannah welcomed their first child, son Patch Shepherd, on November 10th.

“Sunday morning our little boy made a fast entrance into the world,” Phillip wrote on Instagram with a glimpse of his son. “I cried more than he did. Hannah was an absolute rockstar in delivery and she has been such an amazing mom these last four days. I’m forever in love with this little kid. He’s changed me so much already. We can’t take our eyes off of him. He’s perfect. Our prayers were answered and this new journey has begun. Welcome, Patch Shepherd Phillips.”

Phillip and Hannah announced they were expecting back in July. The two married in 2015.

Phillip won season 11 of American Idol in 2012.

Phillip Phillips is going to be a dad!

The 28-year-old American Idol alum took to Twitter on Wednesday (July 3) to announce that he and wife Hannah are expecting their first child together.

“Phillip and Hannah sittin’ in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage this fall! #P^3,” Phillip tweeted.

Phillip won the 11th season of American Idol back in 2012. His coronation song, “Home,” became the all-time best-selling song from the show.

Phillip proposed to Hannah back in 2014 before tying the knot in October 2015.

Phillip Phillips and his longtime girlfriend Hannah Blackwell finally tied the knot this weekend at Resora Plantation in Albany, Ga., according to Us Weekly!

The 25-year-old American Idol winner and his bride met at his sister’s charity organization Mission Change almost seven years ago and have been engaged since Christmas Eve of last year.

“I’m so excited. What I love most about her is she’s my best friend and I can tell her anything. I just love her,” Phillip gushed.

Hannah added, “I feel like when I met Phillip, he was the answer to so many questions that I had. He just makes everything make sense for me.”
