Hugh Dancy carries a few posters under his arm while running some errands with his wife Claire Danes in New York City on Thursday afternoon (January 16).

The longtime couple were seen running a few errands after spending some time with their youngest son, Rowan (not pictured).

It was just announced that Hugh will be appearing on the new season of CBS All Access’s The Good Fight.

He’ll play Caleb, a former military officer who now works as an associate at the huge multi-national law firm that has acquired Reddick Boseman & Lockhart, TVLine reports.

Hugh will also star with Claire in the final season of Homeland, which premieres on February 9th on Showtime.

The 40-year-old actress and 44-year-old actor were spotted on a bundled up stroll on Friday afternoon (December 13) in the West Village neighborhood of New York City.

The couple are rarely spotted and were last seen when they hit the red carpet for the opening night of Seared in October.

Directed by artistic director Oskar Eustis, this new version of Pulitzer Prize winner Tony Kushner‘s first play—originally about the possibility of the Reagan counter-revolution giving rise to American fascism—shines a light on the vulnerability of American democracy today.

Performances of A Bright Room Called Day began October 29 and are scheduled through December 15.

Claire Danes‘ husband Hugh Dancy is joining Homeland for the show’s eighth and final season!

Hugh will star as John Zabel, a savvy Washington consultant who joins the White House as a new foreign-policy advisor to the President and a formidable opponent to Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin).

He will have a multi-episode arc on the final season, which will debut later this year.

Here’s a synopsis of the final season, which finds Carrie Mathison (Danes) recovering from months of brutal confinement in a Russian gulag. Her body is healing, but her memory remains fractured – which is a problem for Saul, now National Security Advisor to the newly ascendant President Warner (Beau Bridges). The top priority of Warner’s young administration is an end to the “forever war” in Afghanistan, and Saul has been dispatched to engage the Taliban in peace negotiations. But Kabul teems with warlords and mercenaries, zealots and spies – and Saul needs the relationships and expertise that only his protégé can provide. Against medical advice, Saul asks Carrie to walk with him into the lion’s den – one last time.

The first trailer for Late Night, the Sundance favorite, has just debuted!

Here’s a synopsis: Katherine Newbury (Emma Thompson) is a pioneer and legendary host on the late-night talk-show circuit. When she’s accused of being a ‘woman who hates women,’ she puts affirmative action on the to-do list, and—presto!—Molly (Mindy Kaling) is hired as the one woman in Katherine’s all-male writers’ room. But Molly might be too little too late, as the formidable Katherine also faces the reality of low ratings and a network that wants to replace her. Molly, wanting to prove she’s not simply a diversity hire who’s disrupting the comfort of the brotherhood, is determined to help Katherine by revitalizing her show and career—and possibly effect even bigger change at the same time.

The movie was written and produced by Mindy with a cast including Max Casella, Hugh Dancy, John Lithgow, Denis O’Hare, Reid Scott and Amy Ryan. Nisha Ganatra directs.

The film will hit theaters on June 7.

Hugh Dancy is all smiles as he arrives at opening night of his new Off-Broadway show Apologia on Tuesday night (October 16) at the Laura Pels Theatre in New York City.

The 43-year-old actor looks so handsome in a silver suit as he was joined on the red carpet by his co-star Stockard Channing.
