Indya Moore was attacked by a Trump supporter last week after she tried to take a sign away from the man.

The 24-year-old actress was reportedly outside of the studio for her show Pose and she encountered the Trump supporter holding a re-elect sign for the president.

“Well, you guys aren’t fans of our show, and we don’t want you to be fans of our show,” Indya says while trying to take the sign away. A man then tries to rip the sign back out of Indya‘s hands and they get into an altercation. The man is seen forcibly shoving Indya multiple times before police intervene.

Indya took to Twitter to thank fans for their support after the incident. She wrote, “Thank you for loving my community, fighting for us, supporting us fight for ourselves and others who are experiencing an increase of oppression and violence under this current administration.”

Billy Porter serves up a bullfighting-inspired look on the carpet while attending the season two premiere of his hit FX series Pose held on Wednesday (June 5) in New York City.

The 49-year-old actor was joined at the event by series producer-director Janet Mock, as well as co-stars Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, MJ Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Bianca Castro, Alexia Garcia, Jeremy McClain, Dyllon Burnside, Hailie Sahar, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Sandra Bernhard, Angel Bismark Curiel and writer Our Lady J.

Also in attendance to show their support were Billy‘s husband Adam Smith, Pose season one star Johnny Sibilly, Adina Porter, Raymond Braun, Andy Mientus, Damaris Lewis and Peppermint.

Billy Porter joins Indya Moore, MJ Rodriguez, and Dominique Jackson on the pink carpet as they arrive at the Pose: Emmy For Your Consideration Event on Saturday night (June 1) at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Hollywood, Calif.

Also stepping in attendance at the screening was guest star Johnny Sibilly along with producers Janet Mock and Our Lady J.

Season two of Pose returns to FX on Tuesday, June 11 at 10pm ET. Season one is available for streaming on Netflix now.

The return of Pose is less than a month away!

FX just released a new trailer for the upcoming second season of their hit series.

Season two picks up in 1990 on the day Madonna’s single “Vogue” was released, shining a spotlight on the ballroom community. The series will also continue to explore the HIV epidemic of that era.

The Ryan Murphy-created series stars Billy Porter, MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, and Ryan Jamaal Swain.

Billy Porter and his Pose castmates accept the Champion Award at the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards!

The 49-year-old performer and his co-stars teamed up for the event held at Cipriani 42nd on Monday (May 20) in New York City.

Billy was joined by MJ Rodriguez and Dominique Jackson.

Also in attendance were their other co-stars Dyllon Burnside, Angel Bismark Curiel, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar, Our Lady J, and writer and co-executive producer Steven Canals.

The event was hosted by Star Trek: Discovery‘s Wilson Cruz. The View‘s Rosie Perez and was also there to show her support.

The GLSEN Respect Awards were introduced in 2004 by GLSEN, the leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ youth. Held annually in Los Angeles and New York, the award show honors the work of student leaders, educators, community organizers, influencers, and corporations who serve as exemplary role models and have made a significant impact on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

Ladies and gentlemen, Billy Porter has arrived!

The 49-year-old Pose actor stunned in a fuchsia-colored, sheer tulle gown as he arrived at the 2019 Peabody Awards on Saturday night (May 18) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Billy was joined at the awards show by his costars MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, and Dominique Jackson along with Pose‘s producers Ryan Murphy, Janet Mock, and Our Lady J.

Other stars at the event included Hasan Minhaj and wife Beena, Rita Moreno, D’Arcy Carden, and Katie Couric.

The ceremony was hosted this year by journalist Ronan Farrow.

Here’s what the Pose actress had to say…

On her family’s reaction when she started displaying feminine behaviors as a child: “Because I was assigned male at birth, they expected me to be masculine or to perform the way they thought young boys should perform. And I did not. They didn’t understand. They had never experienced what it was like to have a family member who was genderqueer.”

On being sex trafficked as a teenager to obtain hormone replacement therapy: “I didn’t understand what sex trafficking was at the time. The language I knew was that they were, basically, my pimps. I was just a kid.”

On getting her role on Pose: “I just knew my life was going to change. I knew I had a chance to teach the world something that would help more people to be safe.”
