Javier Bardem is showing off his pride for the Florida Gators on the set of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile in New York City on Wednesday afternoon (September 29).

The 52-year-old actor, and co-stars was seen with co-stars Constance Wu and Winslow Fegley, looked like they were headed to a game by wearing clothing with the team’s logo on it.

Javier played the part of an over the top fan with a bright orange tee shirt, pants, and baseball cap.

Just the week before, Javier was seen filming an action scene for the movie with his stunt double – and he ended up with a bloody and bruised bump on his head following the shot.

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is based on the book of the same name that was first published in 1965.

The book centers on Lyle, a crocodile, who enjoys all his neighbors, expect for one – the one that insists he belongs in a zoo. Mr. Grumps and his cat, Loretta, don’t like crocodiles, and everything Lyle does to win them over seems to go wrong.

Javier Bardem is all smiles at the premiere of his new movie, The Good Boss, during the 2021 San Sebastian International Film Festival at Kursaal Palace on Tuesday (September 21) in San Sebastian, Spain.

The 52-year-old actor was joined at the event by Fernando Albizu, Oscar de la Fuente, Tarik Rmili, Manolo Solo, Almudena Amor, Celso Bugallo, Sonia Almarcha, and director Fernando Leon de Aranoa.

Here’s a summary of the movie: Awaiting a visit by a committee that could give his company an award for excellence, the owner of an industrial scales manufacturing business tries to resolve any problems from his workers in enough time.

Javier and his co-stars were also seen at a photo call earlier in the day.

Matt Damon and Penelope Cruz had a run-in in Venice today!

The Oscar-winning stars were seen greeting each other while making their way through the airport on Saturday (September 11) in Venice, Italy.

Matt was leaving town with his wife Luciana while it appears that Penelope was heading back to the festival. She was later seen arriving via water taxi alongside husband Javier Bardem at the 2021 Venice Film Festival ahead of the closing ceremony.

For those who don’t know, Matt and Penelope starred opposite each other in the 2000 movie All the Pretty Horses, which was directed by Billy Bob Thornton.

The movie received negative reviews and Matt has publicly blamed Harvey Weinstein, who allegedly demanded that Thornton cut his three-hour movie to be under two hours.

Matt has reportedly said, “You can’t cut 35% of the movie and expect it to be the same movie.”

The upcoming movie Dune just had its world premiere at the 2021 Venice Film Festival and you can see the cast’s red carpet looks here!

Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Timothee Chalamet, and Zendaya were just some of the stars who stepped out for the event on Friday (September 3) in Venice, Italy.

More cast members in attendance included Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and Chang Chen, as well as director Denis Villeneuve.

During a press conference, Denis urged fans to see the movie on the big screen.

“At the end of the day these are difficult times for everybody, safety first, if the audience feels comfortable I encourage them to watch it on the big screen,” he said (via Variety). “It has been dreamed, designed, shot, thinking IMAX. When you watch this movie on the big screen, it is a physical experience. We tried to design it to be as immersive as possible.”

The upcoming movie Dune is expected to hit theaters and HBO Max on October 22, and director Denis Villeneuve is revealing info about the sequel.

Specifically, he’s revealing that he plans to make a Part 2 to the story. But, he admitted there is one way a Dune sequel would never get greenlit by Warner Bros.

Dune is a 1965 novel by Frank Herbert and the book was turned into a 1984 movie starring Kyle MacLachlan.
