Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are saying goodbye to their family home.

The 33-year-old reality star and the 37-year-old former NFL player – who are currently going through a divorce – have decided to sell their home in Nashville, E! News reports.

The former couple first bought the home back in 2012 for $5.3 million. They are now selling the home for a little under $5 million.

The Mediterranean-style home, which was built in 2007, is almost 20,000 square feet and features seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, three half baths, a movie theater, and an outdoor eating area.

News of the listing comes just a few days after Kristin announced her reality show Very Cavallari would not be returning for a fourth season.

Since announcing their divorce in late April, Kristin and Jay have been butting heads over child custody agreements and living arrangements.

It’s been rumored for months and months that Kristin Cavallari‘s former best friend, Kelly Henderson, had an affair with Jay Cutler during the time they were married.

Kristin and Kelly actually had a falling out, which was documented on Very Cavallari. Fans believed that the fallout could have been due to an affair, but at the time, Kristin cited that she was being used for fame.

“I’m just gonna go ahead and put this out there, there was never an affair. I have nothing to do with their divorce and I am not dating Jay Cutler,” Kelly said during an interview with divorce attorney Laura Wasser on the “All’s Fair” podcast. “I’ve been in a relationship for quite some time now. He is a very private person and I respect that. You know, him and his kids are a huge part of my life now, but I try to keep them out of the public part of my life because it’s not what they signed up for.”

A quote from Kristin Cavallari has resurfaced after Jay Cutler posted a Mother’s Day message to his official Instagram account.

In 2018, Kristin admitted that she ran her now-estranged husband’s Instagram account at the time.

“I think there needs to be a little clarification on Jay’s Instagram,” she said in 2018 (via USA Today). “It’s not him running it. It’s me. It’s what Jay would have if he had Instagram.”

Jay‘s account posted a photo of Kristin and their three kids on Mother’s Day, and fans believe Kristin actually posted the photo, based on this 2018 quote.

The 33-year-old Very Cavallari star posted a photo of herself and her three children – Jaxon, 6, Camden, 7 and Saylor, 4 – on her Instagram on Mother’s Day (May 10).

“Everything made sense once I become a mom to these 3. Being their mom is the greatest gift. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there,” she wrote.

Her ex, Jay also seemingly posted a tribute on his account.

“Happy Mother’s day to all the moms. These 3 little ones picked a good one,” he captioned the post.

Kristin then commented on the post with a heart emoji.

Interestingly, Kristin announced she is in charge of Jay‘s account last year. It is not yet clear if he now runs the account. However, many fans in the comments section are questioning whether the post was made by Kristin herself.

E! is reporting that the couple, who announced they were divorcing earlier this week, will be spending time with the kids in a one week on, one week off situation.

“Kristin and Jay have made some progress in moving forward with the divorce,” a source shared with the site. “They are now agreeing that Jay will allow Kristin to purchase the home she has been looking at since November of last year when they started having serious issues, which prompted her to start looking in the first place.”

They added that in exchange, Kristin and Jay are “agreeing to split the time with their children, one week on and one week off. They are having the kids stay in the home and Kristin will stay a week, then Jay will stay a week.”

The situation and agreement will change once Kristin moves into her new home. However, this temporary arrangement will help to alleviate any tensions between them.

Kristin Cavallari is revealing some shocking details in new divorce papers, filed this week in her split from Jay Cutler.

First, some backstory: Kristin went house hunting in the fall when her marriage started to deteriorate. Jay had no issue at the time, she said. So when she started house hunting again in the past few weeks, she reportedly was shocked when Jay‘s attorney “was going to tell their business manager to not release the funds” for Kristin‘s new home. She believes that this is a way of “punishing her,” something that is “typical of Husband’s behavior towards Wife.”

She then added that Jay had “attempted to intimidate” Kristin into a parenting plan that is “unfavorable to her. He also informed that he was not going to be leaving the marital residence,” E! News reports.

“Wife does not believe that it is in the best interest of either party or their minor children to reside in the same household… Wife fears that if the parties are required to remain in the same residence, it would be an unhealthy environment, causing irreparable harm to their minor children,” the papers continue. “Husband makes inappropriate statements to and about Wife and attempts to draw her into an argument in front of their minor children. Now that Husband has announced he will not leave so Wife can exercise parenting time with the children, Wife fears the situation will escalate.”

According to a report, via People, the twosome have been staying in their home in Nashville, with their three kids, since returning from a family trip to the Bahamas earlier this month because of the pandemic.

One source shared that that their house “is so huge they don’t have much interaction,” adding that “they only talk about things that are related to the kids.”

At the moment, Kristin is focusing on homeschooling her three children, Camden, Jaxon and Saylor.

“Her days are very busy with school work, she cooks for them and keeps them on a schedule. It’s definitely hard for her, but she is trying to stay positive,” another source shared.
