Chris Martin sports some cool shades while arriving at his hotel on Saturday (November 10) in Sydney, Australia.

Later in the day, the 35-year-old Coldplay frontman was spotted with his band mate Jonny Buckland while taking a walk along the coast of Bondi Beach.

It was recently announced that Coldplay and Jay-Z will perform together at a New Year’s Eve show at the end of the year.

“We’re pleased to announce that, on Monday, Dec. 31, Coldplay will round off a memorable year by performing a very special co-headline show with Jay-Z at Barclays Center, Brooklyn.” Coldplay shared. “This will be the second time in two years that Coldplay has celebrated new year with long-term friend and collaborator Jay-Z, the band having shared the bill with him at a Las Vegas concert in 2010. More recently, Jay-Z performed onstage with Coldplay at the spectacular London 2012 Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony.”

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Jonny Buckland pose with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts and Josh Elliott on Friday (March 2) in New York City.

The British band performed their hits “Paradise” and “Charlie Brown,” off Mylo Xyloto, on the morning show and also talked about the album’s unusual name.

“It’s just something that we thought looked really good but everywhere we go around the world people pronounce it in the most crazy ways,” Chris shared. “And we’re beginning to regret it now.”

Coldplay rocks out at a colorful rave in the video for their latest single “Charlie Brown.”

The British band, featuring Chris Martin, Will Champion, Guy Berryman, and Jonny Buckland, teamed up with Mat Whitecross who directed the shoot. English actress Antonia Thomas and Shameless‘ Elliott Tittensor star as a young couple in love.

FYI: Coldplay will be performing at this year’s MusiCares Person of the Year event honoring Paul McCartney.

Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, and the Foo Fighters will also take the stage at the February 10 gala to be held in Los Angeles just before to 2012 Grammy Awards!

Coldplay hits the Today show stage at Rockefeller Center on Friday (October 21) in New York City.

Rockers Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion, and Guy Berryman treated the crowd to “Paradise,” “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” and “Charlie Brown,” three tracks from their new album, Mylo Xyloto.

The band also performed some of their previous hits, including “Viva La Vida” and “Fix You.”
