Jordan Rodgers, a current contestant on JoJo Fletcher‘s season of The Bachelorette, is opening up about his relationship with his older brother Aaron Rodgers, star quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.

The 27-year-old contestant and former quarterback appeared on the podcast Garbage Time, where the host asked things with his brother.

“You know, we have a relationship,” Jordan said, adding, “It’s complicated. I’ll say that.”

Jordan was also asked if he roots for Aaron‘s Packers, and he responded, “So one of my best friends in the world, Dave Bakhtiari, is his left tackle. I lived with David before the draft, so absolutely.”

Jordan didn’t really know if Aaron watched the show, adding, “I’m sure everybody watches the show, so yeah. I think so, yeah…You know, I haven’t gotten any pointers on my kissing or my dating.”

Jordan Rodgers is clearing up some drama surrounding an active dating account he had while competing on The Bachelorette.

The 27-year-old contestant, who also happens to be the brother of NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers, took to Twitter to explain himself.

“To all who are reading these false rumors I hastily wrote this, please excuse grammar,” Jordan captioned the rather long note, which you can read below.

Essentially, Jordan said that he inactivated his Raya profile before leaving to film the show, but his account was automatically renewed. He has not used it since before shooting.

JoJo Fletcher has admitted that she knew who Jordan Rodgers was before starting The Bachelorette after hearing a rumor that he would be a contestant.

The 27-year-old former pro football player is the younger brother of Aaron Rodgers and he got both the first kiss and the first impression rose on the season premiere!

“A week before this whole thing started I think his name got leaked, and it was kind of all over the Internet, so, you know, it’s like ‘Jordan Rodgers, brother of Aaron’ – so that’s what I knew going into it,” JoJo told Entertainment Tonight.

“Before I met him … I knew just that tidbit about him, but nothing else, and I don’t think it made a difference either way,” she added. “I don’t follow football closely, so it’s not like it made a huge difference, but I definitely knew that about him going into it.”

JoJo denied that she knew Jordan before they met on the show.

“There’s zero truth to that,” JoJo said. “The only thing that I knew about him was that he was potentially going to be part of the cast. So, I don’t know where people are coming up with these things. I’ve never spoken to him, never met him. That first night was the first night I’ve ever seen him in my life. [We had] no conversation, even on the Internet.”

Football player Jordan Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, is a contestant on JoJo Fletcher‘s season of The Bachelorette!

The 27-year-old former pro football player has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Miami Dolphins.

“Sports was everything for me growing up. One of my first memories was going out in the front yard and playing catch with my dad and my brothers, and that’s when I knew I wanted to play in the NFL,” Jordan said in his opening package. “But, it wasn’t an easy path. You know, I was the little brother of Aaron Rodgers, who went on to become the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. So, there’s an expectation because of whom my brother was. It was rough at the start. I was undersized in high school, I didn’t get recruited. But I kept at it and trained really hard and ultimately I ended up playing for three different NFL teams.”

Aaron Rodgers‘ younger brother Jordan is reportedly set to compete on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

According to Us Weekly, the 27-year-old former Canadian Football League quarterback will vie for the affections of rumored new Bachelorette Caila Quinn in the 12th season of the hit ABC show.

Caila was recently sent home by current Bachelor Ben Higgins right before the upcoming finale.

ABC has yet to set a premiere date for The Bachelorette season 12.
