The 32-year-old Black Panther star was joined at the event by Ava DuVernay, Adam Driver, Josh Groban, Grown-ish‘s Yara Shahidi, journalist Mika Brzezinski, and U.S. Representative for Minnesota, Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.

The invite-only event focused on hot-topic issues such as criminal justice reform, climate change, the opioid crisis, and philanthropy as a family value.

Joining the stars were joined by Town & Country editor-in-chief Stellene Volandes, former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, Michael‘s production company head Alana Mayo, Oskar Eustis, Anne Pasternak.

Josh Groban and girlfriend Schuyler Helford check both ways before crossing the street with their dog on Friday afternoon (April 26) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old singer kept things casual in a gray T-shirt, matching paperboy hat, and jeans as he and Schuyler headed to a restaurant where they enjoyed a bite to eat outside.

Earlier this month, Josh and Schuyler were in New York City for the opening night of the new Broadway musical Hadestown.

Taylor Schilling walks the red carpet while attending the opening night of the new Broadway musical Hadestown on Wednesday night (April 17) in New York City.

Josh Groban attended the show with his girlfriend Schuyler Helford and they met up with Chasten Buttigieg, the husband of Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg.

Chasten also met up with Jujamcyn Theaters president and fashion insider Jordan Roth and his producer husband Richie Jackson.

Josh and Ingrid Michaelson, who was at the show too, previously worked with Hadestown director Rachel Chavkin on the musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812.

More stars at the event included Riverdale‘s Casey Cott, 13 Reasons Why‘s Tommy Dorfman, The Other Two‘s Helene Yorke, Glee‘s Alex Newell, Smash‘s Krysta Rodriguez, and Broadway legends Ben Vereen, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Lillias White.

The 28-year-old Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star looked super chic in a striped suit as she showed her support for the new Broadway show.

Debra Messing and son Roman, 14, hit the red carpet at the opening of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations on Thursday night (March 21) at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.

The 50-year-old Will & Grace star was also joined at the opening night celebration by Josh Groban and girlfriend Schuyler Helford.

Other stars at the opening included Danielle Brooks, Michael Urie and Torch Song co-star Michael Rosen, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Blair Underwood, Real Housewives of New York City‘s Jill Zarin, Broadway star Todrick Hall, and former royal Sarah Ferguson.

The musical follows the life and times of The Temptations and will run on Broadway through November.

Cast members James Harkness, Ephraim Sykes, Jeremy Pope, Derrick Baskin, and Jawan M. Jackson all walked the carpet following the performance!

Josh Groban is thankful for Oprah Winfrey!

The 37-year-old entertainer made an appearance on Busy Tonight on Wednesday night (January 30).

During his appearance, he talked about how Oprah is largely responsible for his career.

“She is one of the main reasons why I have a career. Early on, you know when my first album came out, like it was not the kind of music that would be immediately on the radio or MTV or anything like that, so she had me on. It was the first of ten times she had me on the show. Ten times, yeah. I got a punch card for a free yogurt at the end of it,” he explained.

Josh Groban and Tony Danza‘s The Good Cop will not be returning for a second season on Netflix.

“The Good Cop will not return for a second season. We’re grateful to creator Andy Breckman and his fellow producers, writers, the incredible crew and especially stars Tony Danza and Josh Groban for bringing this classic odd couple father-son story to Netflix,” the streaming service said in a statement (via THR).

The show dropped all ten episodes of the first season on September 21. They’re still available to stream now.
