Jude Law and Alicia Vikander step out for the photo call in support of their new movie Firebrand during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
The two stars met up with director Karim Aïnouz, and co-stars Sam Riley, Mina Andala, Amr Waked, Junia Rees, and Patrick Buckley for the event, which was followed by a press conference.
During the panel, Jude opened up about the lengths he went to in order to become King Henry VIII – he mixed a special scent with puss, blood, fecal matter and sweat. It was made special from a British perfumer for Jude for the movie.
“I thought it would have a great impact if I smelled awful,” he joked. “Because you could smell (the real) Henry three rooms away.”
Alicia added that “Every camera operator was hurling. Jude, you were really wonderfully terrifying!”
Just the night before, Jude and Alicia hit the red carpet for the premiere of the film.
