Recasting roles in movies and television shows is often a risky move among loyal fans.

Game of Thrones, for instance, experienced several recastings during their eight season run, and they were able to make those changes work. Unfortunately, some other popular franchises could not do the same.

From feuds to illnesses, many reasons factor into why one actor may be replaced with another. Sometimes, it comes down to a desire to improve ratings or box office sales with flashier names. And sometimes, the stars at hand are suddenly deemed too controverisal.

Liam McIntyre is looking fit and healthy!

The 36-year-old Spartacus star was spotted leaving a spin class on Sunday (September 2) in Studio City, Calif.

Earlier in the summer, Liam was spotted heading out to the Farmers Market with his wife Erin Hasan in Los Angeles.

Liam will star in the upcoming romantic drama See You Soon and in the horror film The Clearing.

See You Soon is about a U.S. soccer star who suffers a career-threatening injury in the run-up to the 2018 World Cup, and during his recovery, embarks on an epic romance with a Russian single mom.

The 36-year-old actor is best known for his work in the Starz series Spartacus and he has some films that are in the works.

Liam McIntyre was in the middle of the chaos during the tragic shooting at the Ft. Lauderdale airport on Friday (January 6).

The 34-year-old Spartacus actor was supposed to be in the terminal where the shooting occurred but was thankfully with his wife before she boarded a flight in a different area.

Liam took to his Twitter to share his scary experience as he evacuated the aiport and how thankful he was that he and his wife were unharmed.

“Dear God. Was in a different terminal to see @Erin_McIntyre8 on her flight. Then there was a shooting at the terminal I was meant to be at…Praying for all the people caught in the ft. Lauderdale shooting a terminal over. Dear God,” Liam wrote.

Actor Liam McIntyre is a married man!

The 31-year-old Spartacus star wed fellow Aussie Erin Hasan in his hometown of Melbourne on Sunday (January 5), JustJared.com can confirm.

“I’m beyond happy!” Liam told People. “I saw true love as a child and dreamt that one day I’d have the same. Today is the first day knowing that I’ll have that forever.”

The ceremony took place in front of 120 guests at St John’s Anglican Church Toorak. Erin, 28, wore a Monique Lhuillier gown and Liam kept it dapper in a Giorgio Armani tuxedo.

The pair started dating back in 2010 and got engaged at Walt Disney World in December 2012 when he dressed up as Prince Charming for the proposal.

“Liam and I have always both been inspired by the elegance of the 20s, the beautiful movies of the 30s and 40s,” Erin said. “Touches of vintage charm of the time period and our mutual love of Disney and the fairytales were featured throughout the wedding and reception.”
