Lindsey Stirling earned her first 10 of the season for her performance during Disney night on Dancing With the Stars!

The 31-year-old violinist and her partner Mark Ballas did a foxtrot during the live taping on Monday (October 16) in Los Angeles.

Lindsey and Mark‘s dance was set to the tune of “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio and the elegant performance earned the duo 28 out of 30 points.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba noted that this was a departure for Lindsey as she danced as herself and wasn’t able to hide behind a character.

Lindsey said that the year her father passed away was her most memorable one and she opened up about how instead of being angry over the loss of her father, she looked back at the amazing moments they got to spend together.

Lindsey revealed during her opening package that she recently went through a breakup and her guilty pleasure at the moment is just laying around at home in her pajamas all day. So, she and Mark danced in pajamas to the song “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” by Wham.

Lindsey earned a score of 24 out of 30 points for her routing, tying for second place with Jordan Fisher. This was an improvement over her Ballroom Night performance the night before, for which she got a 21 out of 30.

Lindsey Stirling is best known for playing the violin, but now she is going to be known for her dance moves thanks to Dancing With the Stars!

The 30-year-old entertainer performed alongside her partner Mark Ballas on the show’s season premiere on Monday (September 18) in Los Angeles.

Lindsey and Mark performed a Cha-cha-cha to the song “Don’t Worry” and they received a score of 22 out of 30 points to tie for the highest score of the night.

Mark Ballas will star in the Los Angeles engagement of the Jersey Boys tour this spring!

The 30-year-old Dancing With the Stars alum was the final actor to play Frankie Valli in the Broadway production of the Tony-winning musical and now he’ll play the role again.

The production will begin performances on May 16 and continue through June 25 at the Center Theatre Group’s Ahmanson Theatre.

The cast of Jersey Boys will also feature Matthew Dailey (Tommy DeVito), Keith Hines (Nick Massi) and Cory Jeacoma (Bob Gaudio) as The Four Seasons.
