'Fuller House' Makes One Last Reference To Olsen Twins' Michelle In Final Season

Fuller House couldn’t wrap up their final episodes without one final Michelle joke.

The show, which reunited the original Full House cast except for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, poked some fun one last time at the twins who didn’t return for the Netflix revival of the once hit ABC series.

In the scene, DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy are looking through old items in the attic when Kimmy comes across Michelle’s old bike that she once thought was stolen.

“How long are you going to keep Michelle’s bike?” Kimmy asks the sisters. “If she hasn’t come for it by now…[turns to the audience] she’s not coming.”

Andrea Barber opened up about the joke with TV Line, saying, “Michelle gets at least one little poke per season, so we had to do it one last time.”

“It’s not meant to be mean, obviously. It’s all good-natured, in good spirits. We poke fun at everybody,” she added.

If you missed all the jokes about Michelle, the show first joked about her absence in 2016. The show also spoke about a wild theory about Michelle’s whereabouts, too.

There was also once a rumor that Mary-Kate and Ashley‘s younger sister, Elizabeth, would take over the role.

Mary-Kate Olsen's 'Final Straw' in Olivier Sarkozy Marriage Allegedly Revealed

This is an interesting development in Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy‘s divorce. A source is speaking out about Mary-Kate‘s alleged “final straw” in their relationship.

Apparently, as the pandemic began in New York, Olivier wanted to move his ex wife Charlotte Bernard and their kids into his and Mary-Kate‘s Hamptons home to keep them safe.

“Olivier was concerned for the safety of his family in New York during the pandemic. He insisted to Mary-Kate that he wanted to bring his ex-wife, their kids and his mother from the city, to their Bridgehampton home,” a source told Page Six. “Maybe French people culturally have a different view of marriage, and while Mary-Kate loves his children, it was too much to have his ex-wife living with them during the pandemic. Would you want the ex-wife living with you for an unforeseeable amount of time in the middle of a crisis?”

A second source added, “The moment MK drove out of the driveway in April, Olivier had his mother, kids, and wait for this … Charlotte his ex-wife, move in to keep them in a safer place, away from COVID.”

“It was not uncommon for Charlotte to be around and stay in a separate bedroom in the Hamptons on holidays or birthdays. They have two kids and have always put them first. In their French way, family comes first, even with a divorce. Charlotte was even at Olivier’s wedding to Mary-Kate,” the source added.

And for why the marriage ended? “It was simply erosion … growing apart. No cheating or betrayals … sometimes couples just run their course. The plan to move in his family was his way of moving on, and the final straw for Mary-Kate,” the source added.

Mary-Kate Olsen Files for Divorce After Her Emergency Petition Was Rejected

Mary-Kate Olsen is moving forward with her divorce from estranged husband Olivier Sarkozy after her emergency petition for divorce was rejected.

The eight-week suspension on non-essential or non-emergency criminal and civic court proceedings has been lifted by New York courts and Mary-Kate‘s lawyers officially filed the divorce papers on Monday (Monday 25), according to New York Daily News.

Earlier this month, Mary-Kate‘s legal team had requested that the judge grant an emergency order to allow her to file for divorce, but she was denied.

Mary-Kate had signed her petition for divorce on April 17, but the divorce has been in limbo amid the pandemic.

It has been reported that Olivier ordered Mary-Kate to move out of their apartment in New York City by May 18 and that he terminated the lease without her knowledge. She requested that she be given until May 30 so that she could abide by quarantine guidelines.

Here’s what a source is saying about one of the reasons for the divorce.

Olivier Sarkozy Apparently Wanted Mary-Kate Olsen to Be a Stay-at-Home Wife

One reason Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy apparently clashed in their marriage was due to her work ethic.

Mary-Kate is extremely hard working and focused on her business. Her work schedule is beyond disciplined,” a source explained to People. “She is the type of person who would never complain about a 12 hour work day. Olivier never understood her drive and passion. He would have loved to have a stay-at-home wife.”

They often did not go on vacation together as Ashley was so career-focused.

Olivier loves traveling to tropical places with his French friends,” the source added. “He traveled without her several times.”

Here's One Reason Why Mary-Kate Olsen & Olivier Sarkozy Had Problems in Their Marriage (Report)

Apparently, the subject of having kids caused issues in Mary-Kate Olsen‘s marriage to Olivier Sarkozy.

The couple’s divorce became public knowledge just a few weeks ago.

“A few years ago, having a baby was not a priority for her. This has changed,” a source told People.

Olivier has two grown kids and doesn’t want more,” another source said. “Mary-Kate thought he would budge on that and he hasn’t.”

Olivier is a party boy and a big spender,” a third insider added. “He loves the high life.”

Mary-Kate prefers to be quiet and alone and doing the things she likes,” another added. “She’s not that interested in socializing—she likes small gatherings with select people. They ended up being apart quite a bit.”
