Maxim Baldry is filling up some pretty big shoes as Isildur in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
The 26-year-old actor steps into the iconic role for the Prime Video series, where fans will see the origins of the character who many know from his decision of keeping the ring he cut from Sauron’s hand in the book series.

Morfydd Clark turns heads in a flowy blue gown for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power after party held at The British Museum on Tuesday night (August 30)in London.
The 33-year-old actress switched up her look from the red carpet premiere just hours before, alongside Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Sophia Nomvete, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, and Owain Arthur.
Ismael Cruz Córdova, Tyroe Muhafidin, Lloyd Owen, Megan Richards, and Daniel Weyman also switched up their looks for the event.
For the after party, series composer Bear McCreary led a 13-piece orchestra, including 10 taiko drums and 21 vocalists, in a live performance of a composition he created specifically for the London premiere.

Benjamin Walker, Ismael Cruz Cordova and Maxim Baldry were looking very dapper on the red carpet at the premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Tuesday (August 30) in London.
The three stars were joined by their many other co-stars, including Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle, Sir Lenny Henry, Tyroe Muhafidin, Lloyd Owen, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, and Daniel Weyman.
Benjamin‘s wife, Kaya Scodelario, was also seen at the premiere in support.
The world premiere was a fully immersive, ring-shaped carpet which took attendees on a journey through five realms of Middle-earth.
At the center of the 2,000-foot-long circular carpet stood a hand-crafted 40-foot-tall structure representing the five realms depicted in the series: The Elf capital of Lindon; the Dwarven realm of Khazad-dûm; the island kingdom of Númenor; the Southlands, the world of Man; and the Wilderlands, the home of the Harfoots.

Sophia Nomvete, Nazanin Boniadi and Morfydd Clark hit the red carpet for the latest premiere for their new series, The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power, held at Lincoln Center on Tuesday night (August 23) in New York City.
The three actresses were joined by almost all of their co-stars including Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Charles Edwards, and Trystan Gravelle.
Other stars from the series at the premiere included Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Tyroe Muhafidin, Megan Richards, Charlie Vickers, Leon Wadham, Benjamin Walker, and Sara Zwangobani.
Earlier in the day, Leon, Ismael, Owain and Benjamin, stopped by SiriusXM to chat about the new Prime Video series.
The first two episodes of The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power are set to debut in theaters, before hitting Prime Video.

Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and one of the greatest villains that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared reemergence of evil to Middle-earth. The stars are stepping out for night two of the 2022 HCA TV Awards!
Brett Goldstein joined Melanie Lynskey and Hannah Eindbinder at the 2022 HCA TV Awards: Streaming ceremony on Sunday evening (August 14) at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Other stars in attendance included cast members from shows including Ted Lasso, Hacks, The Bear, and The Lord of the Rings.
The awards show honored Streaming shows with Ted Lasso and Severance receiving the most nods with 12 each. You can check out the full list of nominations here.
