John Mellencamp spoke about his ex Meg Ryan and said she “hates” him.

“Oh, women hate me. I loved Meg Ryan. She hates me to death,” the 65-year-old singer told Howard Stern on his radio show. 

“I think it’s because I’m a child. I throw fits, I gripe, I complain. I’m moody. Every bad thing that a fella can be, that’s me,” John said to Howard when asked why women hate him.

John admitted he has tried to patch things up with Meg but, “She just doesn’t want anything to do with me. And I can’t blame her.” 

John and Meg split back in 2014 after dating for three years. He then went on to date Christie Brinkley, but they also called it quits after a year.

Here’s what the 54-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On why she loves renovating: “I love renovating. I think it’s tied to living the actor’s life. As an actor, you are so rarely in control. You’re always saying words that someone else has given you, standing in a room that someone else has designed, to create a reality that someone else wants to see. But with decorating I am in control; it’s a chance for me to bring my vision into the world.”

On attending a party in the loft years before buying it: “I remembered immediately having been there. It was all quite different back then, and the space had been through many eras. At one point Cindy Sherman had used it for her photo studio. In fact, what’s now my coatroom was her darkroom. But even when I had visited all those years ago, I was amazed by the volume. It was like so much of New York: cinematic. That’s what attracted me. And that’s what I wanted to work with.”

Drew was joined at her panel by ex-husband Will Kopelman‘s dad Arie and she opened up to the crowd about how he’s a great grandpa to her kids!

“He’s the grandfather of all grandfathers,” Drew said (via People). “He always says there’s nothing overrated about being a grandparent and he is the ultimate grandparent.”

That same day, the 60-year-old actor was spotted making his way to Times Square to promote the flick on Good Morning America, where his You’ve Got Mail co-star Meg Ryan was also promoting her directorial debut, Ithaca.

“I’m telling you, you came this close to having America’s sweethearts reunited on the set of Good Morning America. Who books this show? There’s Meg now,” Tom joked, catching sight of Meg through the window. “I love you, sweetie! Sweetie, I love you. I’ll find you. I’ll wait for you. I’ll meet you in the park. Let’s have hot dogs at that thing by the place with the deal, and we’ll get to know each other again.”

Here’s the synopsis: When his older brother leaves to fight in the Second World War, fourteen-year-old Homer Macauley takes on a job as a bicycle telegraph messenger to provide for his widowed mother, his older sister and his younger brother.

Homer delivers messages of love, hope, pain and death to the good people of Ithaca, but soon must grapple with a message that will change him forever.

Based on Pulitzer Prize-winning author William Saroyan‘s 1943 novel The Human Comedy, Ithaca is a coming-of-age story about the exuberance of youth, the abruptness of change, the sweetness of life, the sting of death, and the sheer goodness that lives in each and every one of us.

The film also stars Sam Shepard, Hamish Linklater, Alex Neustaedter, Tom Hanks, Meg and her son Jack Quaid.

Ithaca hits theaters on September 9!

The cast of She Loves Me shows off their vocal and acting chops on stage at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

Reese Witherspoon is speaking out about the 2016 Oscars nominations and her thoughts on why the Academy needs to be more diverse.

“I really appreciated this article in TIME on the lack of racial and gender diversity in this year’s Oscar nominations,” the 39-year-old Oscar-winning actress wrote on Facebook.

“So disappointed that some of 2015′s best films, filmmakers and performances were not recognized…” Reese added. “Nothing can diminish the quality of their work, but these filmmakers deserve recognition. As an Academy member, I would love to see a more diverse voting membership.”
