Michelle Branch has happy news!

The 38-year-old singer revealed Sunday (August 15) that she and her husband Patrick Carney are expecting their second child together.

“You know you’re pregnant when…” Michelle captioned an Instagram post of scones.

“Woke up to a picture my friend Sonya sent of scones she was eating in England and I immediately had to hop out of bed and make a batch myself. @officerpatrickcarney was my hero (as usual) and went to the market in search of double cream. Couldn’t be more excited (and nervous! Hello, pregnancy after miscarriage anyone?!) to announce baby Carney is coming early 2022! *recipe is @nigellalawson, duh,” she continued.

The news comes after she revealed back in December that she suffered a miscarriage. The couple share 2 year old son Rhys, and she has a 16-year-old daughter Owen Isabelle with ex Teddy Landau.

The 35-year-old “Breathe” singer and the 39-year-old Black Keys member tied the knot on Saturday afternoon (April 20) at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The musicians tied the knot in front of close family and friends, including their 7-month-old son Rhys and Michelle‘s 13-year-old daughter Owen.

Michelle and Patrick have been dating since February 2018 and he proposed on Michelle‘s 34th birthday back in July.

Michelle Branch and fiance Patrick Carney have some exciting news – their baby boy is here!

The 35-year-old singer and the 38-year-old Black Keys drummer welcomed their son Rhys James Carney into the world on Tuesday night (August 28) at 11:48pm.

“Patrick and I are over the moon in love with our son Rhys James Carney,” Michelle wrote on Instagram with the adorable pic seen below.

Rhys weighed in at 8lbs, 13oz. and measured in at 20 inches.

This is the second child for Michelle, who has a 13-year-old daughter Owen with her ex-husband. This is the first child for Patrick.

Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney are gearing up for parenthood!

The 34-year-old musician took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon (February 8) to announce that she and her 37-year-old Black Keys drummer fiance are expecting a baby!

“Well, we were just about to send out Save The Dates for our wedding in May when we got this little surprise ❤️ Baby Carney is happening this summer and Patrick and I couldn’t be more excited! xx,” Michelle captioned the below video of her ultrasound.

Michelle is already mom to 12-year-old daughter Owen with ex husband Teddy Landau.

Michelle and Patrick have been dating since February 2018 and he popped the question on Michelle‘s 34th birthday back in July.
