Pia Toscano is engaged to her boyfriend Jimmy R.O. Smith, her reps confirm to JustJared.com!

The 27-year-old singer, who was shockingly voted off early into the tenth season of American Idol, got engaged over the New Year’s holiday.

“Pia and Jimmy met last year on J. Lo‘s tour,” a source told People. “She was singing backup and he is J. Lo‘s backup dancer.”

You can currently see Pia singing backup for Jennifer Lopez in her Vegas show.

Nicole Scherzinger and Leona Lewis both look picture perfect while walking the carpet at Just Jared’s Way Too Wonderland Party presented by Ever After High on Thursday (August 27) at Greystone Manor in Los Angeles.

The singers weren’t the only music stars in attendance – former American Idol contestant Pia Toscano, Sevyn Streeter, Kilo Kish, That Poppy, Bonnie McKee, and Sofia Reyes were all at the party was well!

Nicole‘s I Can Do That co-star Alan Ritchson also stopped by the event.

The party celebrated Ever After High’s new Way Too Wonderland series, which is currently available to stream on Netflix. A couple of the episodes played throughout the party on the big screen behind the DJ booth!

The 26-year-old singer rose to fame in 2011 when she was one of the favorites to win American Idol season ten, but was eliminated in the top nine round.

Pia sings Sam Smith‘s “Lay Me Down” and Rihanna‘s “Diamonds” in these two new videos.

“‘Lay Me Down is a very personal song for me,” Pia told Billboard. “It brings me back to my relationship with my late grandfather and how I long to have him back in my life. Performing songs like this are like therapy to me and I needed that outlet.”

Pia got her start on American Idol and was famously voted off way too soon in the competition during season ten. Jared‘s song “It’s Over (Goodbye)” was used as the home sendoff for contestants on the very same season.
