Rose Byrne is sending her love to birthday boy Bobby Cannavale!

The 40-year-old Mrs. America actress took to Instagram on Sunday (May 3) to wish the actor a happy 50th birthday.

“💗happy birthday handsome 💗,” Rose captioned the post, which included a photo of the couple and another photo of Bobby‘s birthday cake along with a drawing saying “Happy Birthday Dada” from their kids.

Bobby and Rose have been together since 2012 and share two kids together – Rocco, 4, and Rafa, 2. Bobby also has a son Jake, 25, from his first marriage.

Rose Byrne is having a sense of humor about her quarantine.

The 40-year-old Bridesmaids actress opened up about life at home in New York City with husband Bobby Cannavale and their two children on Variety and iHeart‘s podcast, The Big Ticket, on Friday (May 1).

“Listen, I feel lucky…we’re safe and we’re okay, but it’s scary. We have two little kids. We’ve just been inside, but I have friends who are working in the healthcare system,” she said.

When asked how she’s staying sane, she joked: “Just alcohol, drugs [and] porn.”

She also opened up about playing Gloria Steinem in Mrs. America.

“I was like, ‘I cannot screw this up.’ I just worked as hard as I could, and I don’t know what I did, or how it looked, but I just tried to capture her essence as hard as I could,” she explained.

Rose and Bobby recently paired up at this event.

The event is called Couples’ Choice because the celeb couples there get to chose the musical performances.

Rose Byrne happily strikes a pose alongside her husband and co-star Bobby Cannavale while attending the BAM after party for their play Medea held at Public Records on Thursday (January 30) in New York City.

The real-life married couple were joined at the event by their co-stars Orson Hong, Emeka Guindo, Gabriel Amoroso, Jolly Swag, Victor Almazar, Jordan Boatman, Madeline Weinstein and Dylan Baker.

Medea is playing in the BAM Harvey Theater, where performances began January 12 and have been extended through March 8. In Simon Stone‘s Medea, Anna (Rose) and Lucas (Bobby) are scientists. After Anna’s stint in a psychiatric hospital, and Lucas’ affair with a younger woman, the couple faces an uncertain and tumultuous future.

Rose Byrne is heading to Apple!

The 40-year-old actress will be starring in the upcoming dramedy Physical about the 1980′s aerobics craze, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Rose will star as “a Southern California woman struggling in her life as a quietly tortured housewife who finds an unconventional path to power through the world of aerobics.”

Annie Weisman will be writing and serving as showrunner for Physical.

Tiffany Haddish joins Robin Roberts for a fun segment on Good Morning America on Wednesday (January 8) in New York City.

The 40-year-old actress co-hosted the show with the anchor while promoting her new movie, Like A Boss.

During her appearance, Tiffany even surprised the winners of the VIP screening contest. Check it the video below!

Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale made their very first joint late-night appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night (January 7)!

The real-life married couple sat down to chat about their latest project: starring roles in the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Medea.

A contemporary rewrite by Australian writer-director Simon Stone, the production stars Byrne and Cannavale as Anna and Lucas, respectively, the characters based on Euripides’ original Medea and Jason.

“In this version we play a couple and we’re both scientists. My character has been responsible for a lot of his success. All of his success, really – but as in the original, you know, she doesn’t get any credit for it at all,” Rose explained. “It doesn’t end well. It’s a lot like Bridesmaids.”

The limited run of Medea begins performances in the BAM Harvey Theatre January 12 ahead of a January 30 opening.
