The couple posed for photos at the premiere of the new Netflix movie Leave the World Behind on Monday evening (December 4) at the Paris Theater in New York City.
The 56-year-old Oscar-winning actress wore a dusty-pink blazer and shorts paired with silver kitten heels for a screening of her new movie Leave the World Behind on Wednesday (November 29) held at The Curzon Mayfair in London, England.
Joining Julia at the screening were her co-star Myha’la and Sam Esmail, who directed, wrote, and produced the movie.
The official synopsis reads: “In this apocalyptic thriller from award-winning writer and director Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot), Amanda (Roberts) and her husband Clay (Hawke), rent a luxurious home for the weekend with their kids, Archie (Evans) and Rose (Mackenzie). Their vacation is soon upended when two strangers — G.H. (Ali) and his daughter Ruth (Herrold) — arrive in the night, bearing news of a mysterious cyberattack and seeking refuge in the house they claim is theirs. The two families reckon with a looming disaster that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to come to terms with their places in a collapsing world.”
The 36-year-old Angelyne actress confirmed the happy news on social media on Thursday (April 6).
“04.05.23. On a foggy Wednesday morning, our son was born,” Emmy wrote, sharing a photo of the baby’s foot prints, and showcasing his height and weight, and birth time of 10:40 a.m. She did not yet reveal the baby’s name.
“Monday morning, at 8:13 AM, we welcomed our daughter into the world,” Emmy revealed, along with a series of shots revealing her baby bump, posing alongside her husband, and a footprint from her new baby girl.
Emmy Rossum and her husband Sam Esmail are taking extra precaution during the pandemic.
The 33-year-old actress and the 42-year-old writer and producer were seen wearing face masks and face shields while out for breakfast on Saturday morning (August 22) in Los Angeles.
Emmy and Sam kept their shields on while sitting at an outdoor table and enjoying their coffees. They only pulled down their masks while eating or drinking.
While watching the Democratic National Convention earlier this week, Sam tweeted one of Emmy‘s reactions.
“Emmy started crying during the Obama speech and turned to me and said ‘I miss having a president.’ I really love her,” he tweeted.
