The Grammy-winning singer teased her new album More Love just a couple days ago and now it has arrived. On the album, Sara performs the songs that she wrote for the Apple TV+ series Little Voice.

The full title of the album, More Love – Songs from Little Voice Season One, seems to imply that Sara will be recording the music for each season of the show.

The album features 10 songs, including the show’s title song “Little Voice,” which she wrote over 16 years ago. The physical version of the album will hit stores on November 6.

Minutes before the album dropped, Sara took to her Instagram Stories and told fans she’d rather donate to Joe Biden‘s campaign or volunteer at the polls than to buy her album, if they had to make a choice between the two.

Sara Bareilles to Star in New Peacock Comedy Series Produced by Tina Fey!

Sara Bareilles is heading to television in the upcoming musical comedy series Girls5eva, which is being produced by Tina Fey!

The upcoming series will stream on the new service Peacock.

In the series, “when a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot,” Variety reports.

Sara will play “Dawn, a former member of Girls5eva, who is now a bit restless in life managing her family’s small Italian restaurant in Queens. When the opportunity arises, Dawn reluctantly gets the band back together for a Girls5eva reunion and it might just be exactly what she needed.”

The series will be written and executive produced by Meredith Scardino. Tina and her longtime producing partner Robert Carlock are also executive producers.

“It is a pinch me moment to get to cross paths creatively with women like Meredith Scardino and Tina Fey, who I have been a fan of forever,” Sara said in a statement. “I am a longtime admirer of so many of the characters they have brought to life in other projects, and I am already in love with the women at the center of Girls5eva. I am so excited to help bring to life what I know will be a smart, creative, hilarious show with a lot of heart.”

Sara previously starred in NBC’s live concert production of Jesus Christ Superstar and she acted on Broadway in the musical Waitress, for which she wrote the music. There’s another TV project that Sara is working on right now.

Sara Bareilles Reveals Which Beloved '90s Series Inspired 'Little Voice'

Sara Bareilles helped create the new Apple TV+ series Little Voice, which is out now!

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter wrote original music for the series and Jessie Nelson, who she worked with on Waitress, is the co-creator and writer.

Sara teamed up with producer J.J. Abrams and his production company Bad Robot for the new series and she credits one of his shows as the inspiration.

“My college years were spent in deep devotion to one of JJ‘s shows, Felicity,” Sara told Entertainment Weekly. “I just love that show so much and I always felt like, as a young woman, it would be interesting to see what would the stories be of Felicity as a songwriter; if there was a way to marry those ideas.”

“We both really liked the idea of dreaming up a world that had what ended up being sort of the tone and the sweetness of a messy young woman trying to find her way in New York City,” Sara added.

If you didn’t know, Sara wrote the music for the Broadway musical Waitress, which was based on the film that Keri starred in back in 2007. She joked with EW that she and Keri “have a weird cosmic thing.”
