Uzo Aduba hits the red carpet while attending the Stella By Starlight: The Stella Adler Studio Of Acting’s 2015 Fundraising Gala on Monday (May 11) in New York City.

The Orange is the New Black actress was joined by her co-stars Selenis Leyva and Danielle Brooks as they all got together to show their support for cast mate Kate Mulgrew, who was honored at the event with The Stella Adler Award.

Boyhood actor Ethan Hawke was also in attendance to receive The Marlon Brando Award for excellence in the arts and a life devoted to social engagement.

Gina Rodriguez strikes a pose on the red carpet while arriving at the Nuevas Latinas Living Fabulosa Event at The Times Center on Wednesday (March 25) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress was joined by her Jane the Virgin co-star Diane Guerrero and Orange Is The New Black‘s Selenis Leyva at the event celebrating Latina women.

At the event, Gina opened up about how she felt about Deadline‘s controversial diversity article and Shonda Rhimes‘ reaction to it.

“I’d love to believe that we’re misreading the tone of that article. I don’t think there’s anybody that reads that and agrees that anything’s being taken away from anyone,” Gina expressed (via Refinery29), speaking to the writer’s claim that agents’ white clients are missing opportunities because of an emphasis on casting minorities. “Let’s just hope the writer has the opportunity to clear up anything we’ve maybe misread as negative. I love to give people the benefit of the doubt. Nobody wants negative in their life.”

Laverne Cox gets sandwiched in between Selenis Leyva and Uzo Aduba while attending the Kiehl’s Nolita Grand Opening on Thursday (July 10) in New York City.

The ladies stepped out just hours after their series Orange Is The New Black was nominated for a fantastic nine awards at the 2014 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series!

Laverne and Uzo both were nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category along with their co-star Natasha Lyonne.

By getting a nomination, Laverne has become the first transgender person to be nominated for an Emmy. Amazing!

“I got to meet the president, I have an Emmy nomination and I can afford to redecorate my apartment. I have a publicist who connected this call. Everything is different,” Laverne told Time about receiving the nomination. “My whole life has changed. People recognize me wherever I go. Nothing is the same it was last year.”
