Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jenna Ortega & Christina Ricci Attend 'Wednesday' Premiere With Their Castmates

The cast of Netflix’s new Addams Family series Wednesday showed up in force for the show’s world premiere on Wednesday (November 16) in Los Angeles.

Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday Addams in the series, dressed for the occasion in an appropriately gothic look that included a veil. She posed for photos with Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday in the 1991 movie about the iconic spooky family. She plays Marilyn Thornhill in the new show and was also dressed in a black gown with a spiderweb motif.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who brings the Addams matriarch Morticia Addams to life, provided the perfect contrast in a white gown.

They were joined by fellow castmates including Oliver Watson, Moosa Mostafa, Gwendoline Christie, Emma Myers, Percy Hynes White, Johnna Dias Watson, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Riki Lindhome, Luis Guzman and Isaac Ordonez.

Creators Miles Millar and Al Gough and director Tim Burton were also in attendance.

Wednesday premieres on Netflix on November 23.

Pierce Brosnan Opens Up About Auditioning For 'Batman' & The 'Stupid' Comment He Made to Director Tim Burton

Pierce Brosnan was once in the running to play Batman, and he is looking back on his campaign to embody the caped crusader.

The 69-year-old Black Adam star was interested in playing Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) in Tim Burton‘s big-screen adaptation of the DC hero. The role ultimately went to Michael Keaton. However, others including George Clooney, Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson have played Batman over the years.

During a recent interview, Pierce recounted a conversation he had with Tim about the character before he lost the role.

Wednesday Addams Goes to High School in First Teaser for Netflix's 'Wednesday' Series - Watch Now!

Netflix has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming series Wednesday, a new show following The Addams Family character Wednesday Addams.

The series is directed by and executive produced by Tim Burton.

Wednesday is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Jenna Ortega stars as Wednesday alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, and Issac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams. Also starring in the series are Gwendoline Christie and Christina Ricci (who previously played Wednesday in the movies).

Tim Burton Makes Rare Public Appearance With His & Helena Bonham Carter's Kids!

Tim Burton just made a very rare appearance on the red carpet with his two kids!

The 63-year-old director was joined by 18-year-old Billy Ray and 13-year-old Nell while attending his “Close Encounter” tribute at the 2021 Rome Film Fest on Saturday (October 23) in Rome, Italy.

For those who don’t know, Billy Ray and Nell‘s mom is actress Helena Bonham Carter. She and Tim started dating in 2001 and announced their separation in December 2014.

It was recently announced that Helena is confirmed to reprise her role as Eudoria Holmes in the upcoming Netflix sequel, Enola Holmes 2. She is the matriarch of the Holmes family, including legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and his rebellious teen sister, the title character.
