Kim Chi took the drag world by a storm when she emerged on the scene as a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2016.

After finishing as one of the runners-up in the contest, she went on to launch her beauty brand KimChi Chic Beauty, where she’s been slaying the game ever since.

In an exclusive interview, we spoke to Kim Chi about her makeup journey, charting her evolution from the first time she wore drag to becoming the face of a fan-favorite brand.

She also opened up about her experience in the beauty world, a misconception about her look involving drag queen and fellow brand owner Trixie Mattel and more.

On Thursday night (May 18), the 62-year-old reality star hosted the 2023 Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills, Calif.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is a superstar making machine.

The long-running RuPaul-hosted drag competition series has exploded in popularity over the past decade, with dozens of spinoffs and international franchises, as well as All Star editions.

Thanks to the platform of the show, many of the queens featured have been able to turn their art into massively successful brands, and they’ve also amassed huge followings on social media. Instagram, especially, has proven to be a huge platform for the Drag Race queens to showcase their makeup skills, performances and comedy routines.

So many stars walked the red carpet outside the 34th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the New York Hilton on Saturday (May 13) in New York City.

Broadway star Idina Menzel dazzled in a red sheer gown and was joined by husband Aaron Lohr. Country singer Maren Morris also used the event as a date night, bringing husband Ryan Hurd with her.

Fire Island star Joel Kim Booster was joined by castmate and Saturday Night Live favorite Bowen Yang. They had a lot to celebrate, being awarded Outstanding Film – Streaming/TV during the ceremony, which was hosted by Ketel One Vodka.

So many stars descended on the Fairmont Century Plaza on Saturday (April 22) to attend the 2023 Los Angeles LGBT Center Gala.

Adam Lambert, Pamela Anderson and Sarah Hyland were just a few of the celebs to walk the red carpet at the event.

The “For Your Entertainment” pop star rocked a suit in a bold cheetah print, which he paired with smokey eyeshadow, black heels and some very glam jewels. Sarah also made some daring choices, wearing a magenta dress with a checkerboard print.

Congressman George Santos took to social media to complain about impersonations of him that are starting to pop up on late night shows, and Trixie Mattel was less than impressed.

If you missed it, the newly elected member of the United States House of Representatives has developed a reputation for being an apparent serial liar after researchers began finding holes in his life story.

Most recently, the Republican politician has been painted as a hypocrite after an alleged photo of him dressed in drag began circulating. Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang impersonated George multiple times during the January 21 episode and made an appearance in drag.

It appears that George was unimpressed with the performance and others that he’s seen.
