William H. Macy is focusing on his work right now while his wife Felicity Huffman spends two weeks in prison for her role in the college admissions scandal.

The 69-year-old Emmy-winning actor was spotted filming scenes for his Showtime series Shameless on Thursday (October 17) in Los Angeles.

Showtime just released the new trailer for Shameless Season 10!

The network unveiled the teaser for the forthcoming tenth season on Friday (September 13) ahead of the season premiere on November 10 at 9 p.m. ET.

William H. Macy stars in the network’s No. 1 comedy series.

Here’s a plot summary: the tenth season picks up six months after last season’s finale. Frank (Macy) uses his leg injury to collect as many prescription drugs as possible, and his exploits lead him to an old friend. Emboldened by the $50,000 left to her by Fiona, Debbie (Emma Kenney) has stepped in as the family’s new matriarch, ruling over the Gallagher household with an iron fist. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) navigates his relationship with a newly affectionate Tami (Kate Miner). Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) has to decide what to do with his life as he finishes military school and heads back to the South Side. Liam (Christian Isaiah) is committed to learning more about black history and culture under the tutelage of V (Shanola Hampton), as Kev (Steve Howey) faces an identity crisis. Gallavich returns this season as Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey (Noel Fisher) rekindle their romance in prison as both cellmates and lovers.

The 69-year-old actor returned to his role as Frank Gallagher while filming scenes for the upcoming eighth season of Shameless on Tuesday (July 9) in Los Angeles.

In the scene, he was seen worriedly assisting a fallen pedestrian.

William is dealing with plenty of drama in his personal life as well: his wife Felicity Huffman pled guilty to the charges against her stemming from her role in the ongoing college admissions scandal nationwide. (William wasn’t charged.)

She is expected to serve this amount of time in jail.

William H. Macy is embracing his green thumb!

The 69-year-old actor was spotted out shopping for plants and gardening supplies at Anawalt Nursery on Tuesday (April 9) in Los Angeles.

William’s outing comes just one day after his wife, actress Felicity Huffman, released a statement apologizing for her part in the college admissions scandal that rocked the nation last month.

“I am pleading guilty to the charge brought against me by the United States Attorney’s Office,” the 56-year-old actress wrote in a statement. “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.”

While Felicity had pleaded guilty to the charges against her stemming from her role in the scandal, William wasn’t charged.

Felicity maintains that her 18-year-old daughter Sofia knew nothing of the cheating plot.

“My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her,” she wrote in her statement. “This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.”

A date for Felicity‘s plea hearing has yet to be scheduled.

Earlier in the day, Felicity released a statement accepting her guilt and apologizing for the pain she has caused her daughter, family and other students going through the college admission process.

When asked about the situation, William did not have a comment.

“Thanks for asking, I can’t talk about that,” William told The Blast.

A date for Felicity‘s plea hearing has not yet been scheduled.

The 68-year-old actor was present for his wife Felicity Huffman‘s hearing following her arrest for an alleged involvement in a college admissions scam.

Felicity, actress Lori Loughlin, and dozens of other people were indicted for their alleged involvement in the scandal.

The Desperate Housewives actress was charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. She allegedly gave $15,000 “to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter.”
