Win Butler, the frontman of the band Arcade Fire, has been accused of sexual misconduct by four people.
The incidents all happened between 2015 to 2020 when the alleged victims were between the ages of 18 and 23 and he was between the ages of 34 and 39.
Three of the women told Pitchfork that the encounters with Win were “inappropriate given the gaps in age, power dynamics, and context in which they occurred.” The fourth person, who is gender-fluid, said that they were sexually assaulted by Win twice.
Win has released a lengthy statement in response to the allegations and his wife and bandmate Regine Chassagne has also spoken out.
