Zack Snyder Weighs In on the Batman Oral Sex Debate

Zack Snyder is sharing his thoughts on the debate surrounding Batman, Catwoman, and oral sex.

In case you haven’t heard yet, there was a scene in the upcoming third season of the animated Harley Quinn series that was deleted after DC execs saw it. Co-creator Justin Halpern told Variety that the scene featured “a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman.”

“DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that,’” he added. “They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’”

Netflix Users Discover 'Dead Pixel' Issue With Zack Snyder's 'Army of the Dead'

Do not adjust your TV!

Netflix users came together on social media to agree: there’s something off about Zack Snyder‘s Army of the Dead on the streaming platform.

According to users across Twitter and Reddit, some scenes appeared to have “dead” pixels, or completely white spaces, across the screen.

A Reddit user gave more detail of the situation: “It is not visible in every scene, as only one of the (I estimate three) cameras has a faulty sensor. For example, you can clearly see it in Dave Bautista’s reverse shot when he sits down in the diner at the beginning of the movie.”

Viewers noted that the “dead pixels” increase as the film goes on, and some complained that it made the viewing experience distracting. Others joked that the movie should be called Army of the Dead Pixels.

It may not be solely the movie’s fault: Reddit users pointed out that this has happened with Extraction and Jupiter’s Legacy, among other shows, via Variety.

A graphics expert at a top visual effects company said it was “highly unlikely” they would have missed the pixels in post-production.

“If auto-processing was not available for the given camera settings or was turned off to keep the workflow as ‘analog’ as possible, it would likely preserve these dead pixels,” the expert said to Variety.

At the same time, Zack Snyder just spoke out about the movie and potential spinoffs.
