She really looks like a clown in that photo.
Poor Alba she is trying to be “white”. Awful outfit by the way.

    Didi Says:

Wow all you ugly women sure do hate the poor girl, so much venom. There is so much jealousy in the room I can practically see the page turning green. Ok admittedly she’s a whiny cow but she doesn’t deserve this much wrath.

Having said that, at least alba looks respectable, look at the state of longoria first. I can’t believe it. looks like a baracuda chewed off her lips, and she seems to have had a bit of an accident at the tanning salon.

    Didi Says:

ok sorry that was my husband posting while I was downstairs. he’s a f*cking arsehole.

Jessica Alba bores me. I know everyone thinks she’s hot, but I don’t see the appeal AT ALL.

Terrence looks nice though. He looks like a true gent!

    bettiep Says:

I’m Not jealous at all of this ho. She’s just really an overrated, stuck up ho. There are soo many better looking actresses out there than this dumb ho who always brags about how she looks.

The paparazzi annoy her and she could “give two ***** about them.” But you don’t mind them being here right?

“They can take my picture if i have a movie coming out.” Somebody slap her already.

    ya ya Says:

They show her face alot now because of some crappy movies that are coming out. Dumb. She is really trying to be white isn’t she? You’re that ashamed? And to think that your dad is Mexican. Huh. He must be soo proud.

    b*tch slap Says:

“Cameron Diaz is more Latina than I am.” Uh. Shut her up already, Please! And Cameron Diaz is making about $19.5 million more per movie than you are, you idiot.

    Danyelle Says:

I thought she was soooo ashamed of being a Latina. So why is she at an awards show that represents us? Makes noooooo sense to me.

  13. 13
    angie! Says:

she actually said “cameron diaz is more latina than me?” huh? has she looked in the mirror?!
    she is very pretty though….

people on this website including myself are a bunch of sad losers. we should be doing something important. man, we’re pathetic.

    Sandra Says:

I really have to hand it to Ms Alba. She is very beautiful. Great face, body, hair, really–the works…

BUT. She’s is sucha freakin embarassment to Latinas! All of her interviewes…she somehow manages to say something negative about being a Latina.

And what she said about Babel being the “obvious” choice?!!! Did she even see Quincenera? Does she even know what a Quincenera is?

I really, really, really wish she’d shut up about her views on being Mexican. It’s totally embarassing!

Ummm, I wish someone would tell her that she can thank her great looks to being Mexican.

    ~Smiley=D~ Says:

well i was actually at these awards, and well i think the reason she was actually at the ALMA awards was to be able to say something like “see im not ashamed, i went” or something like that. and as a latina myself i dont appreciate how rude and uncaring she is about her culture! but watch in the future shell be forgotten once “hot” body is gone, she wont be remembered, unlike many great older latinas who are stil remembered and cherished!

  22. 22
    Meme Says:

She was okay but now f*ckin can’t stand the *****. She should have gotten egged at the ALMA awards for being ashamed of her dark skin, big lips and Mexican background. I look white and still am a proud 3rd generation Mexican (Chicana) but she pisses me off. F*ck her. She can try to be as white as she wants but she will always be BROWN, lame ass *****.

  23. 23
    Cash Warren Says:

She’s an AMERICAN, and proud of it. Her grandfather knew he had to shuck off his Mexican background to be successful. Why would anyone be proud of that third-world hellhole called Mexico?

Learn english. The only “Latina” heritage you should be proud of is tacos.

By the way, Jessica has always gone to the ALMA awards, and I’m sure they are glad to have her.

Also *she* has NEVER said she was ashamed of her Mexican heritage, she has only said she doesn’t want to be held up as a Latina representative, because she was raised American, and doesn’t even know any Spanish. She doesn’t want to be a “pretend” Latinia. What’s wrong with being honest?

    F*uck the haters.

  24. 24
    Karen Says:

Jessica is talking about culture, but her detractors are talking about race. She never says that she thinks she’s white, or that she’s ashamed of her Mexican ancestry. She just doesn’t like the “Latina” label because she is an English speaking American. Why should she let people foreignize her?

I think what a lot of people don’t know is that label carries with it an expectation that you be Spanish speaking and more familiar with the culture of Latin America than your own American culture. THAT is what Jessica is rejecting.

And what she says about Cameron Diaz is true. Cameron looks white, so she’s called an American actress, but Jessican is brown, so she’s a Latina actress? That’s racist. To top it off, Jessica’s roots are deeper in America than Cameron’s.

To me this recent wave of immigrants should assert themselves as Americans and stop acting like Americans are only white. How can you demand equal treatment in America if you don’t even think you’re an American? They’re letting the Latin Americans who work on Madison Ave. exploit them.

They’re fighting in the nation’s wars and dying in America’s coal mines, but they’re not Americans. But Cameron Diaz is. That’s Bullschitt.

    I’m glad Jessica spoke up.

  25. 25
    Bedoor Says:

@Karen: TOTALLY agree with you. Some people don’t understand what Jessica is trying to say and just take it negatively so they can feel good that they found something bad about Alba. Alba is adorable and clever and every one is just jealous of her.
