Tennis champ Roger Federer and his wife Mirka welcomed twin daughters, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, on Thursday (July 23) in Switzerland.
“This is the greatest day of our lives,” Roger, 27, said in a statement “Mirka, Myla and Charlene are all healthy and doing very well.”
Earlier this month, Roger won Wimbledon and his 15th Major, making him the #1 ranked player in the world. In April, Roger and Mirka tied the knot also in Switzerland, where Roger is from.

Many congrats to Roger & Mirka! Double congrats to them for being able to keep the information about twins to just their family. It’s too bad all celebs don’t have that luxury.

Like this couple because they are always low key and dont sell thier private life to the media and blog sites all the time. Even their weddingn annoucement was done after the fact with a simple statement. Not like Any Roddick’s which we heard about weeks before and after. Jon and Kate should take a page from this book.

Well, they married in April and had a kid in July. I don’t think they wanted a huge wedding with her huge belly!

My words precisely! Nowadays celebrities share absolutely everything about their lives, so to think that the Federers were able to keep the sex and number of babies a secret—more power to them:-)
Now it all makes sense why Mirka was so big towards the end of her pregnancy!
