The 27-year-old True Blood star apparently doesn’t get shy stripping down for sex scenes. “It’s like, I’m sorry, maybe there are a lot of women who keep their bras on while they have sex… I don’t happen to be one of them,” she tells Nylon magazine. “I don’t think the naked body is particularly shocking or interesting.”
Anna also talked about how her physical appearance has changed the public’s perception of her. “People are incredibly literal sometimes in how they view you. You have dark hair and pale skin? You must be brooding. The second you dye your hair blond and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you’re a bit stupider and happier.”

Um…I don’t think it’s the blonde hair that makes people think she might be stupid…it’s more the fact that she uses words like “stupider”.
Anyway, apart from the slight grammer issues, I like her. Nice to see someone who doesn’t feel the need to hide her “flaws” with cosmetic surgery like so many other actresses *cough, Megan Fox, cough* Definitely a positive role model.
She is also a pretty fine actress.

Kira — “stupider” is actually a word. Both “more stupid” and “stupider” are the correct forms, and she used stupider for parallel structure. Also, dude, you spelled “grammar” incorrectly, so casting stones is kind of…you know. Glad you like her, though!!!!

The reason why some actresses wear bras during sex scenes is because they don’t want everyone seeing their boobs. I think it’s good that some actresses have boundaries. There is entirely too much sex on True Blood. It’s completely ridiculous. I’m not a prude but can’t imagine why anyone would need to see that much sex on a TV show about vampires. This is a remarkable show but the nudity is too much. If there’s nothing interesting about nudity, then why are they always naked? All it’s doing is feeding into our over-sexed and pornographic culture.

I have never had problem with Madonna Gap, Mary Lawrence Hutton (surpermodel now 65), orja Fox(CSI), elton john or Vanessa Paradis (Johnny Deep girlfriend) and even Anna Paquin.
