Charlize Theron - 2009 Hollywood Awards

Charlize Theron presents the Breakthrough Actor award onstage during the 2009 Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (October 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress raised $140,000 for charity last week by kissing a girl. She joked after the 20-second kiss: “My boyfriend is not here.” One man made a bid of $135,000, but a mystery woman upped the stakes to $140,000 for the last second win.

Charlize‘s kiss raised money for the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project, which is teaming with the OneXOne Foundation to bring soccer pitches and clean water to the children of South Africa by 2010.

FYI: Charlize is sporting a sexy corset and skirt by The Row, Christian Louboutin heels and carrying a clutch by Bottega. She topped it all off with jewelry by Neil Lane.
