Ashley Olsen totes around her favorite Chanel bag as she hops into her waiting SUV in New York City on Wednesday (March 31).
The 23-year-old media mogul recently lost money while selling her home in Hancock Park, Los Angeles. She purchased the property for $1,575,000 in 2007 but only sold it for $1,399,000.
That’s a $358,000 loss. Ouch!
According to the LA Times, “The 1926 Spanish-style house has a wood-beam ceiling and fireplace in the living room, an arched doorway leading to the formal dining room and a second-story balcony with a period tile staircase. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,322 square feet. French doors open to a covered patio and a yard, which has a tiled pool with a spa.”

If you’re in the public eye, you should make a point to wash your hair. As far as her financial loss, I think she’ll be ok.

That is a $176,000 dollar loss, not $358,000. Even if the loss had been $358,000 though, it would have been nothing substantial to her, just a mere pittance.

For being a “fashion” guru, this young woman just does NOT know how to dress. She is always wearing clothes that just DO NOT flatter her. What is up with that?? Everything is always baggy, and sometimes just ugly on her. I think this boho look needs to be gone. She’s too pretty to look like this.

I am sure the Olsen’s are actually very clean. She has her hair pulled back and looks like it has just been washed. She just looks like she is doing her everyday errands.
And yes she did drop out of university like her sister Mary-Kate and they both don’t have degrees. But with the money they have, a degree is really irrelevant. They both live in New York because they hate the amount of paps that hound L.A.
That is the most miserable face I have ever seen. Money does not buy happiness. She looks absolutely miserable. Why live in New York City if you have all the money in the world?

I’m just curious why her and her sister still get a lot of media coverage? WTF do they do now? I haven’t seen them act in ages and certainly clothing lines and such shouldn’t warrant as much publicity as they get.
they probably live here in NY b/c they blend in with the homeless population! I’ve never seen people look so bad all the time – even on the red carpet. If they aren’t getting out of their expensive car the paps and everyone else probably think it’s just another homeless crackhead and ignore them!
