Kate Beckinsale and Salma Hayek hit the red carpet in style at the premiere of Il Gattopardos on Friday (May 14) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
The 36-year-old actress, who’s a jury member this year at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, wore a Gucci Première silk georgette antique white gown draped and embroidered with silver micro bugel beading with metallic silver thread embellished bust and waist detail.
Salma, who hit the red carpet with hubby Francois-Henri Pinault, chose a silk georgette Gucci Première scarlet one shoulder gown with sweeping drape across the waist and hip with red glass bugel beaded embroidered detail.

Salma: True perfection. They don’t make beauties like that anymore. Although, I don’t think a woman should ever wear the same red as the red carpet. Salma still looks stunning. Wow.

Just a little precision Jared but it’s for the premiere of “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps” not “Il Gattopardos”. “Il Gattopardos” was earlier in the day and I saw Salma on the red carpet for Wall Street ;)

Salma is truly beautiful. She’s also had a teensy bit of “work” done. A mini- pick me up. I hope she will not get anything else done for many years! I also think she is not as nice as she was before she amrried Pinnault. She literally hit the jackpot with him. Better than the lottery. Now she is more phoney and snotty. I think wearing red right after she wears burgundy is not the best choice. She will probably wear white next. She is also “modeling” the new fashions from her husband’s company.
