George Clooney: President Obama Fundraiser!

George Clooney signs in at the check-in table before heading into the Tavern Restaurant on Thursday (April 21) in Brentwood, Calif.

The 49-year-old actor attended a fundraiser to support President Obama‘s campaign for the 2012 presidential election.

Also in attendance at the fundraiser: Will Ferrell, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and Eddie Murphy.

Earlier in the day, Obama campaigned at the Sony Pictures backlot.

George recently wrapped up filming scenes for his upcoming movie The Ides of March in Cincinnati, Ohio. The film will continue production in another location.
