Orlando Bloom: Playing the Bad Boy 'Was a Lot of Fun'

Orlando Bloom arrives at JFK International Airport on Wednesday (October 19) in New York City.

The 34-year-old British actor recently chatted with the Associated Press about his new movie, The Three Musketeers, which opens this Friday.

“[My character, the Duke of Buckingham] is a bit of a bad boy. He’s a rake, he’s a rogue isn’t he? He’s a cad. And that was a lot of fun,” Orlando dished. “This was just a romp. Stick your tongue in your cheek and go big or go home.”

As for whether this is the type of film he’d take son Flynn to see, Orlando shared, “I think so. I mean he’s 8 months [old], so not yet perhaps.”

“I’m not sure he’d appreciate it but he might – he’d marvel at the explosions and stuff,” he added.
