Katy Perry: 'Raising Hope' Guest Star!

Katy Perry has landed a guest starring role on Raising Hope!

The 27-year-old entertainer will play a prison attendant who claims to be an old buddy of Sabrina’s (Shannon Woodward). Katy and Shannon are best friends in real life!

“Shannon told me that her friend Katy was interested in doing an episode and I thought, why not? Let’s do your friend Katy a favor,” creator Greg Garcia said (via EW). “Then she came in and did a terrific job. And now people are telling me that Katy is also a singer. I sincerely hope that her appearance on the show helps her get her singing career off the ground.”
