OlderZachary Quinto, Chris Pine & Zoe Saldana: 'Star Trek' Trio
Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana sit in a golf cart on the set of the Star Trek sequel on Wednesday (February 29) in Los Angeles.
The two co-stars, joined by Zachary Quinto in character as Spock, got to work on the J.J. Abrams-directed sci-fi flick.
Zach recently shared that even though production has started on the movie, the plot details aren’t exactly set in stone just yet.
“What you guys are going to see has yet to be solidified, decided [and] defined and that’s the great part about working with someone who is so mind-bogglingly talented as J.J. Abrams,” he told E! Online.

I’m excited. I always thought Chris and Zoe would be a cute couple. However, she and Bradley are also adorable. Cool to see Zachary in his costume.
yeah shooting a 150m movie without a finished plot sounds like a great idea….no wonder JJ’s shows go to sh!t after the first season
I thoroughly the first movie in this series, a romp, and I am looking forward to many future movies from this group.
I think every actor in this series lived up to the spirit of original, these actors were able to bring the best qualities back from the TV series, the qualities I remember sitting watching it as a young man on the TV.
The seamless mixture of the Comedy, and Drama was what made the movie work, and the actors and writers are why it worked, the Director was able to understand what makes Star Trek important for folks who are Star Trek fans, and got that out of every member involved.
