OlderLady Antebellum: ACM Awards Winner!
Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood of the band Lady Antebellum accept the award for Vocal Group of the Year at the 2012 Academy Of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 1) in Las Vegas.
The group also performed their hit song “Dancing Away With My Heart”.
“We can’t thank our FANS & all our supports enough for this years #ACM! Thank you!” the group wrote on Twitter.
“Great and hilarious start to the #ACMs. Loving @blakeshelton & @reba! Going to be a great night!” they added.

so, they named their band for the time period when slavery was legal before the civil war. I’m sure they have a lot of black fans.

They definitely deserve it. Best band in country music right now
