    The ones who really have poor sportsmanship are the Russian girls, they just cry and pout and act ugly when they don’t get the gold. Aliya Mustafia really acts ugly.

  • hugh

    yeah @gary is right she looks so stupid.

  • ,,,

    her voice is annoying

  • MV

    @Jean M: yeah they cry but when they were going to receive the medal at least they smiled, McKayla doesn’t even did that. she is rude.

  • Lilla

    That’s pretty funny! Good for her for having a sense of humor about herself.

    Our society is so sad that that kid can make mOre money with running wih that one viral thing than with her Olympic wins.

  • ….it’s a funny meme!

    McKayla was only disappointed in herself. She blamed no one but herself. In fact, she said that the gold medalist certainly should not fall; she was not mad about the silver, just her performance. Now, she is just displaying a sense of humor about it all. Frankly, competing at that level is not easy, especially at that age (regardless of which country you are representing). It’s a learning experience for all of them and they will all mature a bit as a result. Good luck girls and good job. Go Team USA.

    @gary: Hahaha it’s the and I love it. I like that she’s a total b*tch. Anyways u know what she is 16 and was disappointed she lost jeez really.
    See competitive and silver wasn’t cutting it.
    Americans arent fake winners.
    She wasn’t going to jump up and down and smile for 2nd place.
    That’s not how she felt.

  • who

    she looks like a Dr.Seuss character

    memes are starting to annoy me, they aren’t funny anymore

    @Jean M:

    I thought Aliya displayed great sportsmanship these games. After floor finals she was adorable with Aly. Komova is the one who cried after every loss – didn’t even look up when other people congratulated her.

  • Sean

    So yummy. Can’t wait till she’s legal for the 2016 Olympics!

  • Villain

    @Sean: Umm, she wouldn’t be ‘legal’ in 2016. She’ll be 20, not 21 yet…

  • Jokergurl

    I thought too many people gave this kid grief over her reaction to losing the vault competition, but I think she was just utterly shocked. She’s probably never fallen on her rear like that in a vault EVER…and then it happens at the Olympics. I admire these athletes who EVEN get to participate in the OLYMPICS, let alone those who are the best in the world at what they do. On the podium she just looked stunned at her silver medal, she even covered it; I think McKayla’s toughest critic is herself. I’m glad she’s making light of it now, it shows character and a willing to lighten up on herself, I’d say she’s on her way.
