Zooey Deschanel chats with Jimmy Kimmel during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday (October 1) in Hollywood.

The 32-year-old actress talked about the new season of her show New Girl, which premiered last week with two brand new episodes.

It was recently revealed that New Girl is among the top shows that benefit from DVR playback. The show’s ratings increased by over 38 percent when DVR playback was added in for the two premiere episodes.
