James Franco & Mila Kunis: New 'Oz: The Great & Powerful' Trailer!

Check out the second official trailer for James Franco‘s highly anticipated film Oz: The Great and Powerful!

Here’s the film’s synopsis: When Oscar Diggs (Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot–fame and fortune are his for the taking–that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity–and even a bit of wizardry–Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Oz: The Great and Powerful hits theaters on March 8.

    Winter Kate Says:

I was wanting them too make a movie based on the broadway show Wicked. One day maybe, but this is alot like what i wanted. Great cast! It looks good. Disney never disappoints!

    Oz Says:

@Winter Kate: I’m not so desperate to see Wicked but the broadway show was great.

I’m very happy and excited about this new official trailer, which focuses on the original story created by L. Frank Baum.

Everything looks perfect. James Franco will make a great Oz. Oh, this movie will break box office numbers, I can feel it. Well done, Sam Raimi and team.

If this is anything like Alice In Wonderland (2010), like people are saying it’s going to be, than I want to see it!

they can hear, and see what your visually thinking
this is the absolute complete truth!!!!!
The reason a lot of Asians have completely expressionless faces, segregate from everybody else-only associate with Asians and don’t associate with non Asians that much, are very untalkative, and are very unfriendly in general is to avoid accidentally revealing that they can read minds by accidentally showing a facial expression or dirty look when someone thinks, or visually pictures something in their mind they don’t like, find astonishing, or funny etc because those people might see that and really wonder what that was that just happened there and see the connection, and they might accidentally say something similar to what the person was just thinking and going to say. If they all associated with non Asians a lot more then there would be a lot more people around for them to accidentally show facial expressions when those people think things they don’t like etc, so they segregate and only associate with Asians so there won’t be anyone around for them to see that and have any accidents happen in the first place.
Try thinking, best yet visually picturing in your mind something absolutely wild as you possibly can when you are around Asians, and try looking for Asians who give people particular looks, especially dirty looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.
I know this may sound crazy, impossible and unbelievable, BUT IT ISN’T CRAZY WHEN IT’S TRUE
I am completely serious, Asians really can read minds!!!!!! ALL of them can!!!!!! Just try thinking things when you are around Asians to get a reaction from them and you will see that Asians can read minds!!!!!
Please try it! It will work for sure if you try everyday!!!!

    Andy Says:

Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams looks great but both Mila Kunis and James Franco look miscast in their parts.

It looks amazing! And what a great cast, Definitely gonna watch.

    deep throat Says:

This looks more about eye candy visual effects rather than good old acting but such is the trend in Hollywood. As long as it makes bags of money who cares, right?

    XxXxX Says:

Wow, this looks amazing. I am SO watching it when it comes out ! Can’t wait. I love that my beautiful husband James Franco is in it. Rachel Weisz is such a beauty. And omg Mila Kunis too!

  12. 12
    Jill Says:

Well of course! Lots of people know that Asians can read minds now! :)

  13. 13
    Sky Says:

Love all of them and they all look fab in their costumes with the special effects. However, Rachel looks really awkward in her roles; really affected as always. She’s as stiff as a starched collar. Mila Kunis looks stunning.

  14. 14
    Lizard OZ Says:

Are Mila’s & James’ evil characters going to be caught and then beheaded at the end for kidnapping and eating little puppies throughout the movie?
We’ll have to wait and see.

  15. 15
    lisa Says:

Really?? im so glad to hear that!!!!

  16. 16
    Casey Says:

Judging by the majority of the responses I have read in the last couple of hours around the net, Rachel Weisz along with Michelle Williams are getting the positive praise while Mila Kunis and James Franco are being called miscast.

And I could career less about your personal problem with Rachel Weisz, who is a great actress.

  17. 17
    Dogfather Says:

In all honesty, the only actors in this film that I’m interested in this film is Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams. At least I know they can act. James Franco can’t act and the jury is still on Mila Kunis.

  18. 18
    Patty Jane Says:

What trailer did you see? The trailer I saw had Rachel Weisz looking not only sexy as hell but looking like the only actor in the film who can act. Yea, you do sound like you have a bug up your you know what.

    @Lizard OZ:

Both James and Mila should be beheaded for being wrong for their roles. Both look seriously wrong for this film.

  19. 19
    Kevin Says:

Liked the trailer and I love Rachel Weisz but I did not like what I saw with James Franco, he’s wrong for the role. And Mila Kunis seems out of place.

  20. 20
    sue Says:

I’m not sure what people are smokin but both James and Mila will be amazing.

Let’s not forget Franco starred in James Dean, Pineapple Expess, Spiderman series, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Milk, 127 hours, Howl and some have stated he deserves 2nd Oscar nod for Spring Breakers, I’m positive he can handle this.

The good news is that the internet is a buzz with the general public lookin forward to March.

Yes, if you’re not fans of James or Mila or any of the others than they will receive hate, but from the feedback on facebook/twitter it has been very positive for all them.

At the end of the day, James, Mila, Michelle and Rachel are all part of the same movie, who with the studio want a hit film. I’m sure all will shine to make this a classic. I have FAITH, see the film before you judge ALL performances!

    Invisible Obama Says:

To say that James Franco and Mila Kunis are miscast is an understatement. Franco looks like he’s stone and Mila looks like she is wearing her mother’s clothes.

  22. 22
    Thumbs Up Says:

You had me at “Mila Kunis”. I don’t normally watch these kinds of movies, but for Mila, wht the heck. Why not?

    Sky Says:

@Casey: If you could care less, why bother with a reply?

I don’t have a personal problem with Rachel; I just think she’s overrated. The same accent and awkward expressions in every film! And Deep Blue Sea was soooooo depressing! Anyone see The Fountain? Overactor Rachel.

  25. 25
    Diana Says:

It looks ok, nothing special. I hope to be surprised:)

I think Rachel Weisz is one of the best actress working today and I loved her performance in ” The Deep Blue Sea” and I loved her performance in “The Fountain”. If you think Rachel is overrated and has the same accent in every film, then you should get your ears clean out and try to know what real acting is. Judging by your response, I doubt you do.
